OCTA Front and Rear Configuration
This Land Rover Defender OCTA pairs retained factory front calipers with an integrated electromechanical rear caliper package. The installation photos show the complete vehicle, the components laid out and both wheel-off and assembled brake views.
- Front: Factory calipers retained with STOPFLEX 400mm carbon ceramic rotors.
- Rear: TTSPORT EP4 integrated electromechanical calipers with STOPFLEX 380mm carbon ceramic rotors.
The rear axle deserves particular attention when specifying a similar build. Choosing the EP4 means checking the service brake and parking-brake integration together. Caliper mounting, pad shape and rotor-hat offset need to agree with the vehicle; a matching disc diameter alone cannot establish that.
At the front, keeping the existing calipers concentrates the purchase on the rotor and its supporting friction components. STOPFLEX offers street-only and higher-duty rotor grades. A road-focused specification can be the sensible purchase for normal use, while sustained high-heat driving calls for a separate discussion of rotor grade, pads, fluid and cooling.
Confirm the Rear Conversion
The Defender rotor listing references 400mm front and 365mm rear discs for OCTA. This case uses an EP4/380mm rear conversion, so order it through a review of the complete configuration. Confirm wheel-spoke clearance and the ceramic-compatible pad specification before production.
Send your Defender trim, existing calipers, rotor measurements and wheel details to check a comparable package.
