YU7 Front Brake Configuration
This Xiaomi YU7 combines a caliper conversion with STOPFLEX carbon ceramic rotors on the front axle. The installation photos show the parts before fitting, the wheel-off assembly and the wheel refitted over the brakes.
- Front: TTSPORT EMB6 monoblock forged 6-piston calipers with STOPFLEX 380mm long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors.
The EMB6 changes the caliper as well as the friction disc. For a YU7 owner considering this package, the useful question is how both components fit within the wheel. Rotor diameter alone cannot answer that; the caliper body and wheel spoke profile also need checking.
STOPFLEX describes continuous long-fiber construction as its higher-strength, higher-thermal-duty rotor option. That makes the specification worth discussing if your use extends beyond daily commuting. Its long-fiber range includes Street, Track-Day and Motorsport versions, so the right choice still depends on operating conditions and the supporting pads, fluid and cooling.
