This Porsche Taycan upgrades its front brakes to Akebono 10-piston calipers with STOPFLEX long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors. The upgrade centers on that front-axle caliper-and-rotor package.

The black Porsche-branded Akebono 10-piston calipers and our 420mm long-fiber rotors form this Taycan’s upgraded front assembly. The caliper hardware and carbon ceramic discs are supplied as one front-brake solution. Continuous carbon strands provide the rotor body’s long-fiber structure for strength and thermal durability. Our carbon ceramic friction material is selected for high-temperature stability.
Our Taycan Akebono carbon ceramic upgrade range also offers a rust-free friction face and ceramic-glaze finish. The drilled discs complement the black caliper finish while making the front upgrade’s ceramic surfaces visible. Compared with like-sized iron discs, carbon ceramic construction can reduce rotating and unsprung mass at the front axle.
