Yellow Porsche-branded calipers and drilled STOPFLEX rotors sit behind the silver wheels on this Taycan. The build record identifies Porsche OEM Akebono 10-piston front calipers, with long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors fitted at both axles.

STOPFLEX describes its ceramic-glaze coating and a friction surface that does not flash-rust after rain, washing or parking. That rust-free surface is a relevant ownership benefit for a road car whose brakes remain clearly visible through the spokes.
The pad choice belongs in that decision too. STOPFLEX selects matched ceramic-compatible pads for low visible dust, but states that traffic, temperature, bedding and driving intensity still affect the result. The rotor material alone should not be treated as a promise that these silver wheels will stay clean.
For daily use, discuss cold response alongside thermal duty. STOPFLEX separates Long-Fiber Street, Track-Day and Motorsport specifications and recommends a Street specification for harsh winters. Its pad and coating are intended to improve cold response, with extra margin still advised on the first stops. The highest-duty version is not automatically the best match for a road-focused Taycan.
