R35 Carbon Ceramic Rotors with Factory Brembo Calipers
The orange Brembo calipers remain on this silver Nissan GT-R R35. The upgrade changes the rotors at both axles to STOPFLEX long-fiber carbon ceramic, visible through dark multi-spoke wheels with bronze outer lips. Wheel-off views show the retained calipers alongside the new discs.
- Front: Factory Brembo 6-piston calipers retained with STOPFLEX 390mm long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors.
- Rear: Factory Brembo 4-piston calipers retained with STOPFLEX 380mm long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors.
For an R35 owner happy with the existing calipers, this is a way to change rotor material without adding a caliper conversion to the job. The six-piston front and four-piston rear hardware still need discs and pads matched to their dimensions. Retaining the calipers does not make the original pad compound suitable for ceramic friction surfaces.
STOPFLEX describes its continuous long-fiber construction as the higher-strength, higher-thermal-duty option. Choose the Street, Track-Day or Motorsport version around actual use: the bodywork on this GT-R does not establish a track specification. Sustained hard braking still calls for suitable pads, high-temperature fluid and cooling. On cold first stops, pad and rotor temperature also matter; ceramic discs should not be assumed to respond identically cold and warm.
Confirm the R35 Rotor Reference
The R35 retained-caliper rotor listing covers multiple front and rear size references. Match your current brake package rather than ordering by the GT-R badge alone. Include wheel width, offset and spoke profile when checking clearance for a 390/380mm combination.
