This is a custom front big-brake conversion, not a bolt-on rotor swap. The 420mm front package depends on the Akebono 10-piston caliper, so wheel clearance has to be checked against your exact wheel before ordering. The rear keeps the factory caliper and steps up to a 380mm STOPFLEX rotor.

Do you really need a 10-piston front caliper on a Taycan?
On a Cross Turismo built to this power level, the front axle absorbs most of the braking energy. The Akebono 10-piston caliper adds pad area and clamping support up front, and the 420mm carbon ceramic rotor adds the thermal headroom you need for repeated high-speed stops.
Why keep the factory rear caliper and only change the rear rotor?
It puts the big hardware change where the work happens, at the front, while the rear moves to a lighter 380mm carbon ceramic rotor for thermal balance and lower unsprung mass. You get most of the benefit without forcing a full rear caliper conversion.
Will this brake upgrade interfere with the Taycan's regenerative braking?
No. Regen still handles deceleration in its normal range. The upgraded friction brakes are there for when regen backs off, isn't available, or simply isn't enough for the stop you're asking for.
Can carbon ceramic brakes help range or efficiency?
A lighter rotor package cuts unsprung and rotating mass, which helps responsiveness. Any daily range gain is modest, but the drop in rotating weight is still meaningful for how the car feels.
How long do STOPFLEX carbon ceramic rotors last on the street?
In normal street use they can reach roughly 250,000 to 300,000 km when the car isn't tracked. On an EV, where regen handles part of the deceleration, mechanical brake wear can be especially low.
