Refund policy

This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made on stopflex-ccb.com.

STOPFLEX carbon-ceramic brake discs, brake kits, brackets, caliper-related components, and other brake upgrade products are made to order, configured, or manufactured according to the customer’s vehicle, fitment, specification, finish, size, or order requirements. For this reason, all STOPFLEX products are treated as custom-made products unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.

Custom-Made Products: No Returns for Change of Mind

Because our products are custom-made or configured for each order, we do not accept cancellations, returns, exchanges, or refunds for non-quality reasons after an order has been placed.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Change of mind

  • Ordering the wrong model, specification, size, color, or configuration

  • Fitment errors caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Delays caused by customer-side confirmation, installation scheduling, customs clearance, or local import procedures

  • Sale, discounted, promotional, or special-order items

  • Products that have been installed, modified, used, damaged, or returned without authorization

This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

European Union Customers

For customers located in the European Union, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.

Because STOPFLEX products are custom-made, made to order, or configured for the customer’s vehicle and selected specifications, EU customers do not have a right to cancel or return the order for convenience, change of mind, or non-quality reasons.

This does not affect your legal rights if the product is defective, damaged, incorrect, or not as described.

Defective, Damaged, Incorrect, or Non-Conforming Products

Please inspect your order immediately after delivery.

Contact us as soon as possible at sales@stopflex-ccb.com if:

  • The product is defective

  • The product is damaged during delivery

  • You received the wrong item

  • The product does not match the confirmed order specification

  • The product is materially different from its description

To help us evaluate the issue, please provide:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos or videos of the product, packaging, shipping label, and issue

  • A description of the problem

  • Vehicle make, model, year, and relevant fitment information

  • Installer report or diagnostic details, if the product has been installed or test-fitted

Do not install, modify, repair, return, or continue using a product that may be defective or unsafe. Contact us first so we can review the issue and provide instructions.

Remedies for Approved Quality Issues

If we confirm that the product is defective, damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law. Depending on the case, this may include:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Re-manufacture

  • Missing-part shipment

  • Partial refund

  • Full refund

For EU consumers, where a legal guarantee applies, we will provide the legally required remedy. In general, this means repair or replacement at no cost where appropriate. If repair or replacement is impossible, cannot be completed within a reasonable time, or would cause significant inconvenience, a partial or full refund may be available as required by law.

For U.S. customers, remedies will be handled according to this policy, any applicable written warranty, and applicable federal or state law.

Return Authorization Required

All returns must be approved by us in writing before shipment.

Products sent back without prior written authorization will not be accepted.

If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions and the applicable return address. Do not ship the product back until you receive written return authorization from us.

Return Shipping

For approved quality-related returns, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs where required by applicable law or where we confirm in writing that the issue was caused by STOPFLEX.

For unauthorized returns or non-quality-related return attempts, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, storage fees, and any loss or damage during return transit. Such returns may be refused.

Refunds

If a refund is approved, we will notify you after receiving and inspecting the returned product, unless inspection is not required for the specific remedy.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days, unless a different timeframe is required by applicable law.

Please note that your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may need additional time to process and post the refund.

Delayed or Unfulfilled Orders

Custom-made brake products may require additional production, inspection, or logistics time.

If we cannot ship your order within the timeframe stated at checkout, in the product description, or in our written order confirmation, we will contact you with an updated timeframe where required by applicable law. If applicable law requires cancellation or refund for an unshipped order, we will comply.

Installation, Labor, and Third-Party Costs

Unless required by applicable law or approved by us in writing, we are not responsible for:

  • Installation labor

  • Removal labor

  • Diagnostic fees

  • Vehicle downtime

  • Storage fees

  • Workshop charges

  • Third-party modification costs

  • Costs caused by incorrect customer-provided fitment information

Before installation, the customer and installer must verify fitment, specifications, and product condition.
