Trims that share a chassis name can differ mechanically: a pure performance variant often carries different knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel ET clearance than the standard models, so parts that bolt onto one are not the parts that fit the other. Calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and brake lines ship as one matched system built to your confirmed trim. Modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension mounting points must be reviewed before ordering.
The 380 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 19" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.

Heat Management Note
Ceramic discs shrug off surface temperatures that would destroy iron, but the rest of the system still heats up: pads, fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels all absorb soak heat during repeated hard stops. For track days, long descents, and sustained hard driving, run brake cooling and high-temperature fluid.

How does this kit behave in cold winter weather?
An untuned cold carbon-ceramic disc bites less than cold iron on the first stop or two. That is physics, not a fault. We tune around it by matching the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so cold-car feel on the 007 GT comes very close to summer feel. On the coldest first stops, leave a little extra following distance until the brakes see one or two heat cycles.

What wheels do I need to clear the 380mm rotors?
The front and rear both use 380mm carbon-ceramic rotors, so 19-inch wheels are the minimum. Anything under 19 inches will not clear the RC6 front caliper, and spoke shape matters too. Send us your wheel details and we will confirm clearance before shipping.
