This kit is built per car, not per platform. We engineer the brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting to your confirmed model and trim, because trims sharing a chassis name frequently differ underneath — performance variants can run different knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel ET clearance than their standard siblings. You receive calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and brake lines as one matched, trim-specific system. Cars with modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension mounting points need review before ordering.
The 390 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 20" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Heat Management Note
Ceramic discs shrug off surface temperatures that would destroy iron, but the rest of the system still heats up: pads, fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels all absorb soak heat during repeated hard stops. For track days, long descents, and sustained hard driving, run brake cooling and high-temperature fluid.

How do these carbon-ceramic brakes behave in winter on a cold XC60?
Physics first: any cold carbon-ceramic disc bites a little less than cold iron on the first stop or two, and that's normal, not a fault. We've tuned both the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so on a winter morning your XC60's braking feel comes very close to how it feels warm. Still, leave a little extra following distance on the first couple of cold stops until everything is up to temperature.
Will this fit my exact XC60 trim, or is it a generic platform kit?
It's built for your confirmed trim, not the XC60 platform as a whole. Trims in the same family can use different front knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel clearance, so we match the brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting to your specific car. We never ship an assumed bolt-on and hope it clears.
What wheels do I need to clear the 390mm front rotors?
The 390mm front rotor with the Brembo 6-piston caliper requires a minimum 20-inch wheel. Anything under 20 inches will not clear the caliper. Spoke shape and barrel clearance also matter, so send us your wheel details and we'll confirm before you order.
Does this kit keep my electronic parking brake working?
This is a front-only kit, so your factory rear calipers and electronic parking brake stay exactly as they are and continue to function normally. If you later want a matched rear big-brake setup, we engineer those to retain full EPB operation.
