This kit is built per car, not per platform. We engineer the brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting to your confirmed model and trim, because trims sharing a chassis name frequently differ underneath — performance variants can run different knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel ET clearance than their standard siblings. You receive calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and brake lines as one matched, trim-specific system. Cars with modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension mounting points need review before ordering.
The 380 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 19" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface
Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.
Winter & Cold-Weather Braking
A cold, untuned carbon-ceramic disc needs more pedal than iron on the first winter stops — normal material physics. StopFlex engineered the pad formula and disc coating specifically for cold starts, closing that gap: cold-car winter feel is now very close to summer feel. Keep a little extra distance on the coldest mornings; for harsh winters, choose Street Spec.

Front Caliper
The front caliper is the Brembo V6 / GT6 / GTS6 6-piston, and on this build you pick one of three options: V6 (OEM Cadillac CTS-V casting), GT6 (Brembo GT M6), or GTS6 (Brembo GT S6). All three run the 380 mm front rotor and hold a firm, repeatable pedal from six pistons clamping evenly across a wide pad.
Rear Caliper
This kit is a front-only upgrade, so the V60 keeps its factory rear brakes and electronic parking brake untouched. If you want a matched rear caliper and rotor set, we can engineer one for your confirmed trim on request.

Heat Management Note
High rotor temperature tolerance does not mean heat management disappears. Under repeated hard braking, heat migrates into the pads, brake fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels even when the ceramic disc itself is comfortable. Plan brake cooling and high-temperature fluid for extended track sessions, long mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving.

Will 380 mm rotors hurt my V60 in cold Volvo-country winters?
Cold physics is real: a carbon-ceramic disc that hasn't been tuned bites less than cold iron on the first stop. We addressed this in two places at once. Our pad is a carbon-ceramic-specific low-metallic resin compound with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, and we tuned both that compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts. The result is that cold-car braking on a frozen morning feels very close to summer feel. On the coldest first stops, still leave a little extra following distance until the front axle is up to temperature.
Does this fit my exact V60 trim, or is it a generic platform kit?
It is built for your confirmed trim, not the V60 platform in general. R-Design, T6, T8, and Polestar-tuned cars can differ in knuckle geometry, hub offset, and wheel clearance, so we machine the brackets and rotor-hat offsets to match the car you tell us you own. We do not make a universal bolt-on claim; send us your VIN and trim and we confirm the fit before anything ships.
What wheels do I need to clear the 380 mm front rotor?
The 380 mm front rotor and six-piston Brembo caliper need a minimum 19-inch wheel. Wheels under 19 inches will not clear the assembly, and spoke shape matters too, so a narrow-spoke 19 can still foul the caliper. Send us your wheel details and we check barrel and spoke clearance against the caliper envelope for your chosen option.
Do I keep my factory electronic parking brake?
Yes. This is a front-only kit, so your V60's factory electronic parking brake stays on the rear axle exactly as it came from Volvo. Nothing about the EPB wiring, actuators, or function changes when you install the front big brake kit.
