High rotor temperature tolerance does not mean heat management disappears. Under repeated hard braking, heat migrates into the pads, brake fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels even when the ceramic disc itself is comfortable. Plan brake cooling and high-temperature fluid for extended track sessions, long mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving.

A Mk5 (2006-2009) and Mk6 (2010-2013) Golf differ in knuckle and hub geometry, and GTI/R models can differ again, so we machine brackets and rotor-hat offsets to match your specific car. We do not sell a platform-wide bolt-on; we confirm your details first, then build.
What wheels do I need to clear the 390mm rotor?
The front rotor is 390mm, so you need at least 20-inch wheels. Anything smaller will not clear the disc, and spoke design matters too since the Brembo 6-piston caliper sits high on the rotor. Send us your wheel specs and we'll verify clearance before you buy.
