Fitment here is bespoke: brackets, hat offsets, and caliper mounting are engineered for your exact model and trim rather than copied across the platform. Two trims with the same chassis code can still differ in knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel ET clearance — which is why we confirm your trim first, then build the matched system of calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and lines for it. Modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension points require review before ordering.
The 380 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 19" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Premium Ceramic-Glaze Finish
StopFlex's proprietary coating gives the disc a bright ceramic-glaze surface with subtle texture — the factory carbon-ceramic look, clearly visible through open wheel designs.
Continuous Fiber Construction
StopFlex discs are built with long continuous carbon fiber instead of chopped short fiber. Continuous strands carry load across the whole rotor body, raising strength and thermal durability under heat cycles.
Bespoke Per-Vehicle Engineering

CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface
Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.

Winter & Cold-Weather Braking
Winter question, straight answer: untuned ceramic discs bite less when cold. StopFlex optimized the pad compound and the rotor's ceramic coating for cold operation, so cold-start braking in winter feels very close to warm-weather braking. Extra following distance on freezing first stops is still smart; severe-winter daily cars should run Street Spec.
Caliper Overview
Front Caliper
The front uses the Brembo OEM Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang 6-piston caliper, a monoblock fixed caliper that clamps a 380mm carbon-ceramic rotor. Six pistons spread pad pressure evenly, which keeps pedal feel firm on long descents when the Alphard is loaded.
Rear Caliper
The rear runs the TTSPORT EP4 4-piston forged caliper with a dedicated EPB actuator piston, so the factory electronic parking brake still works. It uses four 28mm hydraulic service pistons plus one 27mm EPB piston in a two-piece forged-aluminum body (about 4.50 kg per caliper), adding real rear-axle thermal capacity behind a 380mm rotor.

Best for race-focused builds that run competition pads, high-temperature fluid, cooling strategy, and a proper warm-up window. Not the default street choice.
Heat Management Note
Carbon ceramic rotors tolerate extreme surface temperature, but they do not remove every heat-management requirement. During repeated hard stops, heat still soaks into pads, fluid, seals, calipers, wheels, and nearby components. For long track sessions, mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving, brake cooling and high-temperature fluid are still recommended.

FAQ
How do these brakes behave on a cold winter morning?
An untuned cold carbon-ceramic disc bites a little less than cold iron on the first stops. That is basic physics, not a fault. StopFlex tunes both the low-metallic pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so first-stop feel on a cold Alphard now comes very close to summer feel. On the coldest mornings, leave a bit of extra following distance for the first two or three stops until the system is up to temperature.
Will this kit fit my exact Alphard trim?
Every kit is engineered for your confirmed AH30 trim. Brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting are cut to match your car's knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel clearance. We do not sell this as a platform-wide bolt-on, because trims in the Alphard family can differ mechanically. Send us your VIN and trim and we confirm fitment before anything ships.
What wheels do I need to clear the 380mm rotors?
The 380mm front and rear rotors require a minimum 19-inch wheel. Spoke shape matters as much as diameter, so a 19-inch wheel with tight inner spokes may still contact the Brembo 6-piston caliper. Send us your wheel model and offset and we check spoke clearance as part of fitment confirmation.
Does this actually fix the brake fade when the van is loaded?
Yes. A loaded Alphard can exceed 4,500 lbs, and on a long descent the factory sliding caliper heat-soaks and the pedal softens. The carbon-ceramic rotors handle far more heat, and the pads hold friction to about 750 °C with strong anti-fade behavior, so repeated hard stops with seven passengers stay consistent.
