About the Disc

Will This Fit My Car?

Direct Replacement CCB Discs (Retain Factory Calipers) for the 2019-2026+ Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Factory rotor specifications and the smallest wheel that clears each trim:

Trim Front Rotor (Factory) Rear Rotor (Factory) Min. Wheel Size
Cullinan 395mm 370mm 20"

Keep Your Factory Calipers?

Keep them if the front calipers are fixed 4-piston or more — the rear axle qualifies regardless. Front 1- or 2-piston floating calipers rule out the disc-only route; choose the Full Upgrade kit instead. Every set is machined to the factory rotor specs listed above, and aftermarket calipers (Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, Wilwood) only need the caliper model, pad shape, and rotor dimensions confirmed before we build.

Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance — confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Why Carbon Ceramic — and Why StopFlex

High-Temperature Stability

The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.

Rust-Free Rotor Surface

Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.

Long Street-Service Life

In normal road use with matched pads and correct bedding, one StopFlex CCB rotor set is engineered to outlast several sets of iron replacement rotors, recovering part of the up-front cost.

Low Visible Dust

Matched with StopFlex pads, the system sheds a fraction of the dust an iron rotor and pad combination throws. Wheels stay clean for weeks of driving instead of days.

Premium Ceramic-Glaze Finish

StopFlex's proprietary coating gives the disc a bright ceramic-glaze surface with subtle texture — the factory carbon-ceramic look, clearly visible through open wheel designs.

Continuous Fiber Construction

StopFlex discs are built with long continuous carbon fiber instead of chopped short fiber. Continuous strands carry load across the whole rotor body, raising strength and thermal durability under heat cycles.

Bespoke Per-Vehicle Engineering

Every order is machined to the confirmed vehicle and trim. Brackets, hat offsets, and pad shapes are built for that exact car — never pulled from a one-size-fits-all catalog.

CCB-Specific Pad Compound

A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.

Lower Unsprung Mass

A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.

Winter & Cold-Weather Braking

Cold facts first: an untuned ceramic disc bites less than iron on a freezing morning — physics, not a defect. StopFlex tuned both the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so winter cold-car braking now feels very close to summer. Leave extra margin on the very coldest first stops; severe-climate daily drivers should build Street Spec.

Choose Your Rotor: Street, Track-Day, or Motorsport

StopFlex Street Spec carbon ceramic brake rotor

Street Spec

Ceramic coating, cross-drilled face, and large cooling channels.

Best for daily driving and premium street builds that need clean cold bite, low dust, corrosion-free appearance, and long service life.

StopFlex Track-Day Spec carbon ceramic brake rotor

Track-Day Spec

Ceramic coating, blank face, and honeycomb cooling channels.

Best for fast-road and track-day use where repeated braking stability matters more than maximum visual drilling style.

StopFlex Motorsport Spec carbon ceramic brake rotor

Motorsport Spec

Uncoated blank face with honeycomb cooling channels.

Best for race-focused builds that run competition pads, high-temperature fluid, cooling strategy, and a proper warm-up window. Not the default street choice.

Heat Management Note

Ceramic discs shrug off surface temperatures that would destroy iron, but the rest of the system still heats up: pads, fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels all absorb soak heat during repeated hard stops. For track days, long descents, and sustained hard driving, run brake cooling and high-temperature fluid.

Before ordering, tell us the exact vehicle, current rotor sizes, and caliper type. Nothing goes to production until the build is confirmed against your VIN-level configuration.

FAQ

Will this fit my Cullinan without changing the calipers?

Yes. This kit reuses your factory Cullinan calipers and swaps only the rotors, pads, hats, and floating hardware. It matches the factory 395mm front and 370mm rear rotor sizes, so the front caliper bridges the new discs correctly. Direct Replacement is valid here because the Cullinan runs a front caliper of four pistons or more. Confirm your exact rotor diameters before ordering, since compatibility is limited to the 395mm front / 370mm rear setup listed on this page.

How do these behave in winter and on a cold first drive?

A cold carbon-ceramic disc naturally bites a little less than cold iron on the first stops — that's physics, not a fault, and it's what most owners notice on untuned CCB. StopFlex tuned both the pad compound and the disc ceramic coating specifically for cold starts, so cold-car feel on the Cullinan now comes very close to summer feel. On the coldest mornings, leave a little extra following distance for the first two or three stops until the front 395mm discs and pads reach working temperature, then the bite is consistent.

Is this cheaper than a genuine Rolls-Royce ceramic brake service?

It's built to be a real alternative to a dealer carbon-ceramic replacement, which commonly runs into five figures on the Cullinan because of the car's 6,000-plus-pound mass and large rotor sizes. You keep the factory calipers and only replace the wear items — rotors, pads, hats, and hardware — so you avoid paying for caliper hardware you don't need. You get carbon-ceramic performance at the same 395mm front and 370mm rear dimensions your car already uses.

What pads come with the kit and how much heat do they handle?

The kit ships with a carbon-ceramic-specific low-metallic resin-composite pad using steel, copper, and aramid fiber, matched to the disc coating. It runs an average friction coefficient around 0.44 and resists fade to roughly 750 °C, which suits a heavy Cullinan making repeated high-speed stops. The pad is engineered for the ceramic surface, so you don't get the accelerated disc wear that iron-oriented pads cause on CCB rotors.
