The 2007-2012 997 Targa 4 and Targa 4S use different OEM brake packages, so this StopFlex replacement kit is built around the exact factory rotor set on the car: 318/299 mm, 330/330 mm, or optional PCCB 350/350 mm. Carbon-ceramic rotors reduce brake dust on the Targa’s open-wheel bodywork, cut rotating mass at each corner, and add thermal stability for fast road or track-day use without changing the factory caliper architecture. Heat Management Note

During repeated hard stops, heat can still soak into pads, fluid, seals, calipers, wheels, and nearby components. For long track sessions, mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving, brake cooling and high-temperature fluid are still recommended.
