CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.

Heat Management Note
High rotor temperature tolerance does not mean heat management disappears. Under repeated hard braking, heat migrates into the pads, brake fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels even when the ceramic disc itself is comfortable. Plan brake cooling and high-temperature fluid for extended track sessions, long mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving.

Will this fit my 991 Speedster with factory PCCB?
Yes, this kit is built for the 2019 911 (991) Speedster running the factory carbon-ceramic setup: 410mm front rotors and 390mm rear rotors. It reuses your existing Porsche calipers, which are 6-piston front and 4-piston rear on this car, so the front-caliper minimum for direct replacement is easily met. Confirm your wheel size on order, since the Speedster's staggered fitment needs the same clearance as the original PCCB discs.
Do the pad-wear sensors still work with my factory dashboard?
They do. The included pads use the OEM wear-sensor system, so the Speedster's factory pad-wear warning keeps functioning exactly as it did with the original PCCB pads. You won't see dashboard errors or a false warning light after install—the sensor circuit reads normally through the instrument cluster.
How do these behave on a cold winter morning?
An untuned cold carbon-ceramic disc bites less than cold iron—that's basic physics, not a fault. On this kit we've tuned both the low-metallic resin-composite pad and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so first-stop feel on a cold Speedster now comes very close to summer feel. On the coldest days, leave a little extra following distance for the first one or two stops until the front 410mm rotors reach working temperature.
