Modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension mounting points must be reviewed before ordering.
The 390 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 20" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Bespoke Per-Vehicle Engineering
Every order is machined to the confirmed vehicle and trim. Brackets, hat offsets, and pad shapes are built for that exact car — never pulled from a one-size-fits-all catalog.
CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.

Keep a little extra distance on the coldest mornings; for harsh winters, choose Street Spec.
Caliper Overview
Front Caliper
This kit uses the OEM AMG 6-piston fixed front caliper, the same clamping hardware AMG specified for the fast C219 CLS. Six pistons spread pad load evenly across the 390mm carbon-ceramic disc for a consistent, firm pedal.
Rear Caliper
The rear runs the OEM AMG 4-piston caliper on the 380mm rotor, adding rear thermal capacity so the fronts aren't doing all the work on long descents and repeated high-speed stops.

Heat Management Note
High rotor temperature tolerance does not mean heat management disappears. Under repeated hard braking, heat migrates into the pads, brake fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels even when the ceramic disc itself is comfortable. Plan brake cooling and high-temperature fluid for extended track sessions, long mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving.

Will this kit fit my exact CLS trim, or is it a generic W219 part?
It is built for your confirmed trim, not assumed from the C219 name. The AMG CLS55 and CLS63 can differ from CLS500/550 in front knuckle geometry, hub offset, and wheel clearance, so we match the brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting to your specific car after you confirm year and VIN. We do not make a platform-wide bolt-on claim.
What wheels do I need to clear the 390mm front rotors?
The 390mm front disc requires a minimum 20-inch wheel. Anything under 20 inches will not clear the rotor, and spoke shape matters too, so send us your wheel details and we'll confirm clearance before you buy.
How do these carbon-ceramic brakes behave in winter and cold starts?
A cold, untuned carbon-ceramic disc bites less than cold iron on the first stops. That's physics, not a defect. We've tuned both the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold operation, so cold-car braking feel now comes very close to warm summer feel. On the coldest first stop or two, leaving a little extra following distance is still smart.
