Keep Your Factory Calipers?
Keep them if the front calipers are fixed 4-piston or more — the rear axle qualifies regardless. Front 1- or 2-piston floating calipers rule out the disc-only route; choose the Full Upgrade kit instead. Every set is machined to the factory rotor specs listed above, and aftermarket calipers (Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, Wilwood) only need the caliper model, pad shape, and rotor dimensions confirmed before we build.
Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance — confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Why Carbon Ceramic — and Why StopFlex
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface
Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.
Long Street-Service Life
In normal road use with matched pads and correct bedding, one StopFlex CCB rotor set is engineered to outlast several sets of iron replacement rotors, recovering part of the up-front cost.
Low Visible Dust

Premium Ceramic-Glaze Finish

CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Winter & Cold-Weather Braking
Winter question, straight answer: untuned ceramic discs bite less when cold. StopFlex optimized the pad compound and the rotor's ceramic coating for cold operation, so cold-start braking in winter feels very close to warm-weather braking. Extra following distance on freezing first stops is still smart; severe-winter daily cars should run Street Spec.

Heat Management Note
Carbon ceramic rotors tolerate extreme surface temperature, but they do not remove every heat-management requirement. During repeated hard stops, heat still soaks into pads, fluid, seals, calipers, wheels, and nearby components. For long track sessions, mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving, brake cooling and high-temperature fluid are still recommended.

Will these fit my exact AMG GT trim and factory rotor size?
This page covers the C190/R190 GT, GT S, GT C, GT R, and GT R Pro only. The front discs match the factory carbon-ceramic sizes for your trim: 390mm on the GT/GT S/GT C, and 390mm or 402mm on the GT R and GT R Pro. All listed trims share a 360mm rear. You reuse your factory calipers, so this replacement is valid only if your front calipers are 4-piston or larger, which the factory AMG front calipers on these cars are. Confirm your exact front rotor diameter before ordering, since the GT R family offers two front sizes.
How do these carbon-ceramic discs behave in winter and on a cold first stop?
A cold carbon-ceramic disc bites less than cold iron on the first stop or two—that is normal ceramic physics, not a fault. We tuned two things for cold starts: the low-metallic resin-composite pad compound and the disc's ceramic surface coating. Together they bring your first-stop winter feel very close to summer feel on the AMG GT. Even so, leave a little extra following distance on the coldest first stops until the front 390mm or 402mm rotors come up to temperature.
Why is this so much less than the Mercedes dealer quote?
Dealer replacement on a factory-CCM AMG GT often runs $18,000–$20,000 because you are buying complete axle assemblies. This kit replaces only what wears—the carbon-ceramic rotors, pads, hats, and floating hardware—while keeping your factory AMG calipers, lines, and sensors. Same disc technology and factory diameters, far lower cost, because you are not paying to swap parts that are still good.
What comes in the box, and do I need new calipers or specific wheels?
Each kit includes carbon-ceramic rotors in your trim's factory front and rear sizes, the matched pad compound, hats, and floating hardware. No new calipers—you retain the factory AMG 4-piston-or-larger fronts. Because these mirror the OEM CCM diameters (up to 402mm front on the GT R Pro/GT R), the same factory-approved wheel fitment that cleared your original ceramics will clear these.
