Keep them if the front calipers are fixed 4-piston or more — the rear axle qualifies regardless. Front 1- or 2-piston floating calipers rule out the disc-only route; choose the Full Upgrade kit instead. Every set is machined to the factory rotor specs listed above, and aftermarket calipers (Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, Wilwood) only need the caliper model, pad shape, and rotor dimensions confirmed before we build.
Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance — confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.

Heat Management Note
Ceramic discs shrug off surface temperatures that would destroy iron, but the rest of the system still heats up: pads, fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels all absorb soak heat during repeated hard stops. For track days, long descents, and sustained hard driving, run brake cooling and high-temperature fluid.

Will these fit my exact GLC trim, or do I need to check the rotor size first?
Fitment on the X254/C254 is trim-specific, so match the size before you buy. The GLC63S and GLC63 use a 390mm front and 370mm rear disc, while the GLC43 uses a 370mm front and 360mm rear. These are Direct Replacement discs that reuse your factory calipers, which is valid because the front AMG calipers on these trims are 4-piston. Send us your VIN and we'll confirm the front rotor diameter and hat offset for your specific car.
How do carbon ceramic discs behave on a cold winter morning in this GLC?
Physics first: an untuned cold carbon-ceramic disc bites a little less than cold iron on the first stop or two. That's normal for the material, not a defect. We tuned both the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so on the X254/C254 the cold-car feel now sits very close to warm summer feel. On the coldest first stops, still leave a little extra following distance until the front 390mm (63S/63) or 370mm (43) discs come up to temperature.
Do these work with the electronic parking brake and my current wheels?
Yes. The rear discs retain the factory hat and integrated EPB drum interface, so the X254/C254 electronic parking brake operates exactly as it did on the OEM rotors. Because you keep the AMG calipers, minimum wheel size does not change from factory, so your existing GLC63S/63/43 wheels clear the same as before.
