If the car uses aftermarket calipers such as Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, or Wilwood, the order can still be built, but the exact caliper model, pad shape, and rotor dimensions must be confirmed before production.

This setup uses a 360 mm rotor, so the minimum wheel size is 19". Wheels under 19" will not clear the caliper and rotor, and spoke profile and offset affect clearance too — confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Heat Management Note

During repeated hard stops, heat can still soak into pads, fluid, seals, calipers, wheels, and nearby components. For long track sessions, mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving, brake cooling and high-temperature fluid are still recommended.

Will this kit fit every 2006-2010 CLS55 or CLS63 AMG C219?

No. This page is only for C219 AMG cars with 360mm front rotors and 330mm rear rotors. Verify the rotor diameters on your car before ordering, especially if the car has an AMG performance package, previous brake conversion, or non-original calipers.

Does the rear parking brake still work?

Yes, when ordered for the correct C219 330mm rear setup. The StopFlex rear hats are built to retain the factory parking-brake shoe interface inside the rear rotor hat, so the parking brake function is not moved to a separate caliper or electronic motor.

Why change from the OEM iron rotors on this CLS AMG?

The factory iron discs are durable but heavy and dust-producing on a 5.5L supercharged CLS55 or 6.2L CLS63. Carbon-ceramic rotors cut rotating mass, reduce black wheel dust, and hold friction more consistently during repeated high-energy stops.

Is this better for street use, track use, or both?
