Will This Fit My Car?
Full Upgrade CCB Big Brake Kits (With Calipers) for the 2014-2024 Maserati Ghibli. This page's exact brake setup:
| Model Years | Front Setup | Rear Setup | Min. Wheel Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2014-2024 | Alcon RC6 6-Piston Caliper / 410mm | TTSPORT EP4 4-Piston Forged Caliper integrated with EPB / 380mm | 21" |
This kit is built per car, not per platform. We engineer the brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting to your confirmed model and trim, because trims sharing a chassis name frequently differ underneath — performance variants can run different knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel ET clearance than their standard siblings. You receive calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and brake lines as one matched, trim-specific system. Cars with modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension mounting points need review before ordering.
The 410 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 21" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.
| Wheel Size (Standard) | Disc Range |

Why Carbon Ceramic — and Why StopFlex
Long Street-Service Life
In normal road use with matched pads and correct bedding, carbon-ceramic friction surfaces are designed for low wear. Actual service life depends on mileage, contamination, pad choice, heat cycles and driving use.
Low Visible Dust
Matched StopFlex pads are selected for low visible dust on the ceramic friction surface. Actual wheel dust still varies with pad choice, traffic, temperature, bedding and driving intensity.
Premium Ceramic-Glaze Finish
StopFlex's proprietary coating gives the disc a bright ceramic-glaze surface with subtle texture — the factory carbon-ceramic look, clearly visible through open wheel designs.
Short-Fiber or Long-Fiber — Your Call
Every StopFlex disc is true carbon-ceramic. Short-Fiber Street Spec uses a simpler chopped-fiber process for a lower price and street-only duty; the Long-Fiber line uses continuous carbon strands that carry load across the whole rotor for higher strength and thermal durability — the pick for track and race heat.
Bespoke Per-Vehicle Engineering
Every order is machined to the confirmed vehicle and trim. Brackets, hat offsets, and pad shapes are built for that exact car — never pulled from a one-size-fits-all catalog.
CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A like-size carbon-ceramic rotor can be materially lighter than an iron disc; the exact saving depends on rotor dimensions. Lower rotating, unsprung mass can reduce the load the suspension has to control.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction material is selected for high-temperature stability and fade resistance. Overall pedal feel still depends on pad condition, fluid, caliper stiffness, cooling and operating temperature.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface
Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.
Winter & Cold-Weather Braking
Cold-weather trade-off: an untuned carbon-ceramic disc can have less initial bite than cold iron. StopFlex specifies a matched pad compound and ceramic coating tuned to reduce that cold-start gap, but the coldest first stops still deserve extra following distance. Severe-winter daily drivers should choose a Street Spec.
Caliper Overview
Front Caliper
The front upgrade uses the Alcon RC6 6-Piston Caliper with a 410 mm StopFlex CCB rotor. Front brackets, hat offset, and caliper mounting are specified only after your exact Ghibli trim is confirmed.
Rear Caliper
The rear uses the TTSPORT EP4 4-Piston Forged Caliper integrated with EPB and a 380 mm rotor. It retains the Ghibli’s electronic parking-brake function.
Choose Your Rotor: Short-Fiber Street to Long-Fiber Motorsport
Four specs, one rule of thumb: all are real carbon-ceramic discs. Short-Fiber Street Spec is the lower-cost route for street-only driving. The three Long-Fiber specs use continuous carbon strands for higher strength and heat durability, and are the only choice for track-day or motorsport use.

Short-Fiber Street Spec
Chopped short-fiber carbon-ceramic body, ceramic coating, cross-drilled face.
Choose this for street-only use when purchase price matters most. It keeps the carbon-ceramic friction surface and coated finish, but it is not specified for track sessions.

Long-Fiber Street Spec
Continuous long-fiber body, ceramic coating, cross-drilled face, large cooling channels.
Choose this for daily and fast-road use when you want the long-fiber construction without moving to a track-focused face and cooling specification.

Long-Fiber Track-Day Spec
Continuous long-fiber body, ceramic coating, blank face, honeycomb cooling channels.
Choose this for repeated fast-road or track-day braking where thermal duty matters more than the drilled street appearance. High-temperature fluid and appropriate cooling still matter.

Long-Fiber Motorsport Spec
Continuous long-fiber body, uncoated blank face, honeycomb cooling channels.
Choose this for competition-focused use with the corresponding pad, fluid, cooling and warm-up strategy. It is not the default recommendation for a street-driven car.
Heat Management Note
Ceramic discs shrug off surface temperatures that would destroy iron, but the rest of the system still heats up: pads, fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels all absorb soak heat during repeated hard stops. For track days, long descents, and sustained hard driving, run brake cooling and high-temperature fluid.

FAQ
Does this kit fit every 2014–2024 Maserati Ghibli?
It is listed for the 2014–2024 Maserati Ghibli, but final fitment is bespoke to the confirmed model and trim. Front and rear mounting details are not assumed to transfer between trims. This full kit uses a 410 mm front rotor and 380 mm rear rotor, and the Python fitment chart sets a 21-inch minimum wheel size.
Will the rear kit retain my electronic parking brake?
Yes. The rear TTSPORT EP4 4-Piston Forged Caliper integrated with EPB is specified to retain the factory electronic parking-brake function. It combines four hydraulic service pistons with a dedicated EPB actuator piston, so the rear upgrade does not require giving up normal electronic parking-brake operation.
Which StopFlex CCB rotor specification should I choose?
Choose Short-Fiber Street Spec for lower-cost, street-only use. Long-Fiber Street is the step up for more demanding road use, while Long-Fiber Track-Day and Motorsport are for progressively higher heat and duty requirements. Confirm your intended use before ordering so rotor choice matches how your Ghibli is actually driven.
How do these carbon-ceramic brakes behave in winter or on cold first stops?
An untuned cold carbon-ceramic disc can have less initial bite than cold iron. StopFlex specifies a matched pad compound and disc coating to reduce that cold-start gap, but the coldest first stops still deserve extra margin. Do not expect identical cold behavior to a fully warmed system.
