Front 1- or 2-piston floating calipers rule out the disc-only route; choose the Full Upgrade kit instead. CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
Winter & Cold-Weather Braking
Winter question, straight answer: untuned ceramic discs bite less when cold. StopFlex optimized the pad compound and the rotor's ceramic coating for cold operation, so cold-start braking in winter feels very close to warm-weather braking. Extra following distance on freezing first stops is still smart; severe-winter daily cars should run Street Spec.

Heat Management Note
High rotor temperature tolerance does not mean heat management disappears. Under repeated hard braking, heat migrates into the pads, brake fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels even when the ceramic disc itself is comfortable. Plan brake cooling and high-temperature fluid for extended track sessions, long mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving.

Does this fit my exact Evoque, and how do I know?
This page covers the L551 Evoque built 2019 through 2026-plus. It replaces the factory 349mm front rotors and either 300mm or 325mm rear rotors, so you need to confirm which rear size your car left the factory with. Direct Replacement only works when your front calipers are 4-piston or larger, since the kit reuses those calipers. Measure your rear rotor diameter or send us your VIN and we will confirm the correct hats and rotor sizes before you order.
How do these behave in cold weather and winter driving?
A cold carbon-ceramic disc naturally bites a little less than cold iron on the first stop—that is physics, not a defect. We addressed it two ways on this kit: the low-metallic resin-composite pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating are both tuned for cold starts, so winter first-stop feel on the Evoque now comes very close to summer feel. Even so, leave a little extra following distance on the first couple of stops on the coldest mornings until the rotors come up to temperature.
Will this finally cut the brake dust that coats my Evoque's wheels?
Yes. The factory Evoque pads stop well but shed heavy iron dust that darkens the wheels within days. This kit pairs carbon-ceramic rotors with a low-metallic pad that produces far less visible dust, so a 20-inch or 21-inch wheel stays cleaner between washes. The rotors also resist the surface rust that plagues parked iron discs.
Do I keep my factory calipers and electronic parking brake?
Yes. This is a Direct Replacement kit: it reuses your existing front and rear Evoque calipers, so your electronic parking brake, ABS, and stability systems continue to work as designed. You get carbon-ceramic rotors, matched pads, hats, and floating hardware without touching the caliper or hydraulic lines. The only requirement is that the front calipers are 4-piston or larger.
