About the Disc

Will This Fit My Car?

Direct Replacement CCB Discs (Retain Factory Calipers) for the 2018-2026+ Lamborghini Urus / Performante / SE / S. Factory rotor specifications and the smallest wheel that clears each trim:

Trim Front Rotor (Factory) Rear Rotor (Factory) Min. Wheel Size
All Trims 440mm (CCB) 370mm (CCB) 22"

Keep Your Factory Calipers?

Keep them if the front calipers are fixed 4-piston or more — the rear axle qualifies regardless. Front 1- or 2-piston floating calipers rule out the disc-only route; choose the Full Upgrade kit instead. Every set is machined to the factory rotor specs listed above, and aftermarket calipers (Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, Wilwood) only need the caliper model, pad shape, and rotor dimensions confirmed before we build.

Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance — confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Why Carbon Ceramic — and Why StopFlex

CCB-Specific Pad Compound

A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.

Lower Unsprung Mass

A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.

High-Temperature Stability

The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.

Rust-Free Rotor Surface

Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.

Long Street-Service Life

In normal road use with matched pads and correct bedding, one StopFlex CCB rotor set is engineered to outlast several sets of iron replacement rotors, recovering part of the up-front cost.

Low Visible Dust

Matched with StopFlex pads, the system sheds a fraction of the dust an iron rotor and pad combination throws. Wheels stay clean for weeks of driving instead of days.

Premium Ceramic-Glaze Finish

StopFlex's proprietary coating gives the disc a bright ceramic-glaze surface with subtle texture — the factory carbon-ceramic look, clearly visible through open wheel designs.

Continuous Fiber Construction

StopFlex discs are built with long continuous carbon fiber instead of chopped short fiber. Continuous strands carry load across the whole rotor body, raising strength and thermal durability under heat cycles.

Bespoke Per-Vehicle Engineering

Every order is machined to the confirmed vehicle and trim. Brackets, hat offsets, and pad shapes are built for that exact car — never pulled from a one-size-fits-all catalog.

Winter & Cold-Weather Braking

Winter question, straight answer: untuned ceramic discs bite less when cold. StopFlex optimized the pad compound and the rotor's ceramic coating for cold operation, so cold-start braking in winter feels very close to warm-weather braking. Extra following distance on freezing first stops is still smart; severe-winter daily cars should run Street Spec.

Choose Your Rotor: Street, Track-Day, or Motorsport

StopFlex Street Spec carbon ceramic brake rotor

Street Spec

Ceramic coating, cross-drilled face, and large cooling channels.

Best for daily driving and premium street builds that need clean cold bite, low dust, corrosion-free appearance, and long service life.

StopFlex Track-Day Spec carbon ceramic brake rotor

Track-Day Spec

Ceramic coating, blank face, and honeycomb cooling channels.

Best for fast-road and track-day use where repeated braking stability matters more than maximum visual drilling style.

StopFlex Motorsport Spec carbon ceramic brake rotor

Motorsport Spec

Uncoated blank face with honeycomb cooling channels.

Best for race-focused builds that run competition pads, high-temperature fluid, cooling strategy, and a proper warm-up window. Not the default street choice.

Heat Management Note

High rotor temperature tolerance does not mean heat management disappears. Under repeated hard braking, heat migrates into the pads, brake fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels even when the ceramic disc itself is comfortable. Plan brake cooling and high-temperature fluid for extended track sessions, long mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving.

FAQ

Will these fit my exact Urus trim without dealer coding?

This page covers the 2018-2026+ Urus, Performante, SE, and S with the factory carbon-ceramic setup: 440mm front and 370mm rear discs. The kit reuses your factory calipers, hats mount to the OEM bore pattern, and the floating hardware matches the original disc geometry, so there is no caliper swap and no brake coding needed. Because the discs are the same size as OEM, the electronic parking brake in the rear caliper operates exactly as it did before. If your car carries the factory CCB rotors in these sizes, it is a direct fit.

How do these behave in winter on a cold first drive?

A cold carbon-ceramic disc naturally bites a little less than cold iron on the first stops. That is physics, not a fault. We addressed both sides of the interface: the pad is a carbon-ceramic-specific low-metallic resin compound with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, and the disc carries an optimized ceramic coating tuned for cold starts. The result is winter cold-car feel that comes very close to summer feel on the Urus. On the coldest first stops, still leave a little extra following distance until the discs come up to temperature.

How can these cost so much less than the dealer rotors?

Dealer CCB replacement on the Urus runs roughly $11,770 per front rotor and around $10,550 per rear, largely because Lamborghini prices them as complete assemblies. StopFlex builds the same 440mm front and 370mm rear carbon-ceramic discs with hats and floating hardware to reuse your existing calipers, so you pay for the wear item, not a full brake system. The friction spec is real: about 0.44 average coefficient of friction and heat resistance to roughly 750 °C with strong anti-fade behavior.

The Urus shares a platform with the RSQ8 — are the brakes interchangeable?

The Urus and RSQ8 share the MLB Evo platform, but their carbon-ceramic rotor sizes, hat offsets, and caliper mounting differ, so parts are not cross-compatible. This kit is built specifically to the Urus 440mm front and 370mm rear CCB dimensions and the factory Urus caliper spacing. Direct replacement is valid because the Urus front caliper is a 6-piston fixed unit; the rear is unrestricted. Order by your exact trim and confirm rotor size before purchase.
