This kit is built per car, not per platform. We engineer the brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting to your confirmed model and trim, because trims sharing a chassis name frequently differ underneath — performance variants can run different knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel ET clearance than their standard siblings. You receive calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and brake lines as one matched, trim-specific system. Cars with modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension mounting points need review before ordering.
The 380 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 19" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Why Carbon Ceramic — and Why StopFlex
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface
Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.
Long Street-Service Life
In normal road use with matched pads and correct bedding, one StopFlex CCB rotor set is engineered to outlast several sets of iron replacement rotors, recovering part of the up-front cost.

A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Winter & Cold-Weather Braking
Cold facts first: an untuned ceramic disc bites less than iron on a freezing morning — physics, not a defect. StopFlex tuned both the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so winter cold-car braking now feels very close to summer. Leave extra margin on the very coldest first stops; severe-climate daily drivers should build Street Spec.

Front Caliper
The front uses the Brembo V6 / GT6 / GTS6 6-piston caliper, and you pick the option that fits your build: V6 is the OEM Cadillac CTS-V unit, GT6 is the Brembo GT | M6, GTS6 is the Brembo GT | S6 — all paired with the 380mm rotor. Six opposed pistons hold pad pressure even and pedal feel firm as the X260's front discs heat up.
Rear Caliper
The rear runs a Brembo V4 / GT4 / GTS4 4-piston caliper on a matched 380mm rotor, adding real thermal capacity at the axle instead of leaning on the fronts. Because the X260 uses an electronic parking brake, the rear setup is engineered to keep that EPB function intact.

Heat Management Note
Carbon ceramic rotors tolerate extreme surface temperature, but they do not remove every heat-management requirement. During repeated hard stops, heat still soaks into pads, fluid, seals, calipers, wheels, and nearby components. For long track sessions, mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving, brake cooling and high-temperature fluid are still recommended.

Will these brakes work in winter without losing bite?
A cold carbon-ceramic disc bites a little less than cold iron on the first stops — that is normal physics, not a fault. We tune around it: the pad compound is a carbon-ceramic-specific low-metallic resin composite with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, and the disc gets a ceramic coating optimized for cold starts. Together they bring cold-car feel very close to warm feel on your XF. On the coldest mornings, leave a bit more following distance for the first one or two stops and you're set.
Is this a bolt-on kit that fits any X260?
No — we build each kit for your confirmed trim. Chassis-name matches don't guarantee identical hardware, so the brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting are cut for your exact XF (X260) car after we verify it. That's how the 380mm front and rear rotors sit centered in the caliper with correct pad contact, rather than assuming a platform-wide fit.
What wheels do I need to clear the 380mm rotors?
The largest rotor here is 380mm, so 19-inch wheels are the minimum front and rear. Wheels under 19 inches will not clear the disc and caliper. Spoke design and barrel shape matter too, so send us your wheel details when we confirm fitment and we'll check clearance against the 6-piston front caliper.
Does the rear caliper keep my electronic parking brake?
Yes. The X260 uses an EPB, and the Brembo V4 / GT4 / GTS4 rear caliper option is set up to retain that electronic parking function. You keep the factory switch behavior — no manual conversion or workaround.
