Keep Your Factory Calipers?
The rule is simple: front factory calipers must be 4-piston or more; the rear has no limit. A 1- or 2-piston floating front setup cannot take direct-replacement discs — that car needs the Full Upgrade kit with calipers. We build to the factory rotor specs above. Aftermarket calipers (Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, Wilwood) work too — send the caliper model, pad shape, and rotor size for confirmation first.
Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance — confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Why Carbon Ceramic — and Why StopFlex
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface
Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.

CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Winter & Cold-Weather Braking
A cold, untuned carbon-ceramic disc needs more pedal than iron on the first winter stops — normal material physics. StopFlex engineered the pad formula and disc coating specifically for cold starts, closing that gap: cold-car winter feel is now very close to summer feel. Keep a little extra distance on the coldest mornings; for harsh winters, choose Street Spec.

Heat Management Note
High rotor temperature tolerance does not mean heat management disappears. Under repeated hard braking, heat migrates into the pads, brake fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels even when the ceramic disc itself is comfortable. Plan brake cooling and high-temperature fluid for extended track sessions, long mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving.

Do these fit my F-PACE SVR without changing calipers?
Yes. This is a direct-replacement kit for the X761 SVR. It reuses your factory 4-piston front calipers and rear calipers, swapping in carbon-ceramic rotors, hats, pads, and floating hardware. The front rotor matches the factory 395mm dimension and the rear matches the factory 396mm dimension, so caliper bracket geometry and pad sweep stay correct. It only fits the SVR trim with these exact rotor sizes.
How do these behave in winter and cold starts?
A cold carbon-ceramic disc bites less than cold iron on the first stop or two. That is normal physics, not a defect. We tuned both the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so first-stop feel on a cold F-PACE SVR now comes very close to summer feel. On the coldest mornings, leave a little extra following distance for the first few stops until the discs come up to temperature.
My rotors look fine — do I really need to replace them, or just pads?
Iron rotors wear as a service item, but factory-fit carbon-ceramic discs on an SVR are extremely expensive to replace at a dealer. If your original discs are cracked, glazed, or worn past spec, this kit gives you a full carbon-ceramic rotor-and-pad replacement that reuses your calipers instead of paying dealer disc prices. If only your pads are worn, you can service pads alone — but a full CCB rotor set restores the original heat capacity the SVR was built around.
Will the electronic parking brake still work, and what wheels do I need?
Yes. The kit retains the factory rear caliper and its EPB mechanism, so your electronic parking brake functions exactly as before with no recalibration. The 395mm front rotors require the SVR's factory wheel sizing for clearance — do not fit smaller aftermarket wheels without checking spoke and barrel clearance against the disc and hat stack.
