Will This Fit My Car?

Full Upgrade CCB Big Brake Kits (With Calipers) for the 2021-2026+ Hyundai Elantra. This page's exact brake setup:

Model Years Front Setup Rear Setup Min. Wheel Size
2021-2026+ Brembo X-Style FA-042 Forged 6-Piston Caliper / 380mm Brembo V4 / GT4 / GTS4 4-Piston Caliper Options / 355mm 19"

Fitment here is bespoke: brackets, hat offsets, and caliper mounting are engineered for your exact model and trim rather than copied across the platform. Two trims with the same chassis code can still differ in knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel ET clearance — which is why we confirm your trim first, then build the matched system of calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and lines for it. Modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension points require review before ordering.

The 380 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 19" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Why Carbon Ceramic — and Why StopFlex

Lower Unsprung Mass

A like-size carbon-ceramic rotor can be materially lighter than an iron disc; the exact saving depends on rotor dimensions. Lower rotating, unsprung mass can reduce the load the suspension has to control.

High-Temperature Stability

The carbon-silicon-carbide friction material is selected for high-temperature stability and fade resistance. Overall pedal feel still depends on pad condition, fluid, caliper stiffness, cooling and operating temperature.

Rust-Free Rotor Surface

Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.

Long Street-Service Life

In normal road use with matched pads and correct bedding, carbon-ceramic friction surfaces are designed for low wear. Actual service life depends on mileage, contamination, pad choice, heat cycles and driving use.

Low Visible Dust

Matched StopFlex pads are selected for low visible dust on the ceramic friction surface. Actual wheel dust still varies with pad choice, traffic, temperature, bedding and driving intensity.

Premium Ceramic-Glaze Finish

StopFlex's proprietary coating gives the disc a bright ceramic-glaze surface with subtle texture — the factory carbon-ceramic look, clearly visible through open wheel designs.

Short-Fiber or Long-Fiber — Your Call

Every StopFlex disc is true carbon-ceramic. Short-Fiber Street Spec uses a simpler chopped-fiber process for a lower price and street-only duty; the Long-Fiber line uses continuous carbon strands that carry load across the whole rotor for higher strength and thermal durability — the pick for track and race heat.

Bespoke Per-Vehicle Engineering

Every order is machined to the confirmed vehicle and trim. Brackets, hat offsets, and pad shapes are built for that exact car — never pulled from a one-size-fits-all catalog.

CCB-Specific Pad Compound

A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.

Winter & Cold-Weather Braking

Cold-weather trade-off: an untuned carbon-ceramic disc can have less initial bite than cold iron. StopFlex specifies a matched pad compound and ceramic coating tuned to reduce that cold-start gap, but the coldest first stops still deserve extra following distance. Severe-winter daily drivers should choose a Street Spec.

Caliper Overview

Front Caliper

The front upgrade uses the Brembo X-Style FA-042 Forged 6-Piston Caliper with a 380mm rotor. This is the largest supplied rotor configuration and requires the fitment review described below.

Rear Caliper

Rear braking uses your choice of Brembo V4 / GT4 / GTS4 4-Piston Caliper Options with 355mm rotors. The selected V4, GT4, or GTS4 rear setup is specified after exact trim confirmation.

Choose Your Rotor: Short-Fiber Street to Long-Fiber Motorsport

Pick by how you drive and what you want to spend. Street-only and budget-minded: Short-Fiber Street Spec. Premium street, track days, or competition: one of the three Long-Fiber specs, whose continuous carbon strands carry the strength and heat margin that repeated hard braking demands.

StopFlex Short-Fiber Street Spec carbon ceramic brake rotor

Short-Fiber Street Spec

Chopped short-fiber carbon-ceramic body, ceramic coating, cross-drilled face.

Choose this for street-only use when purchase price matters most. It keeps the carbon-ceramic friction surface and coated finish, but it is not specified for track sessions.

StopFlex Long-Fiber Street Spec carbon ceramic brake rotor

Long-Fiber Street Spec

Continuous long-fiber body, ceramic coating, cross-drilled face, large cooling channels.

Choose this for daily and fast-road use when you want the long-fiber construction without moving to a track-focused face and cooling specification.

StopFlex Long-Fiber Track-Day Spec carbon ceramic brake rotor

Long-Fiber Track-Day Spec

Continuous long-fiber body, ceramic coating, blank face, honeycomb cooling channels.

Choose this for repeated fast-road or track-day braking where thermal duty matters more than the drilled street appearance. High-temperature fluid and appropriate cooling still matter.

StopFlex Long-Fiber Motorsport Spec carbon ceramic brake rotor

Long-Fiber Motorsport Spec

Continuous long-fiber body, uncoated blank face, honeycomb cooling channels.

Choose this for competition-focused use with the corresponding pad, fluid, cooling and warm-up strategy. It is not the default recommendation for a street-driven car.

Heat Management Note

Ceramic discs shrug off surface temperatures that would destroy iron, but the rest of the system still heats up: pads, fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels all absorb soak heat during repeated hard stops. For track days, long descents, and sustained hard driving, run brake cooling and high-temperature fluid.

Get Your Fitment Confirmed

Before ordering, provide the exact vehicle, current rotor sizes, caliper type, and wheel details. Production starts only after the configuration is confirmed; VIN/build data is requested when it is needed to resolve fitment.

FAQ

Does this CCB big brake kit fit every 2021-2026+ Hyundai Elantra?

No. This listing is bespoke to the confirmed Elantra model and trim, not a chassis-wide assumed fitment. The kit pairs a 380mm front rotor with Brembo X-Style FA-042 Forged 6-Piston Calipers and 355mm rear rotors with the selected Brembo V4, GT4, or GTS4 setup. Brackets, hat offsets, and caliper mounting are confirmed before production.

Will my wheels clear the 380mm front brake kit?

The 380mm front configuration has a 19-inch minimum wheel requirement. Diameter alone is not enough: wheel spoke shape and offset must also clear the Brembo X-Style FA-042 Forged 6-Piston Caliper. Provide the exact wheel specification or a clearance template measurement for physical confirmation before ordering.

Can this kit retain the electronic parking brake?

Some Elantra configurations use an electronic parking brake, but equipment varies by model and trim. Confirm your exact vehicle during the fitment process so the rear Brembo V4, GT4, or GTS4 4-Piston Caliper Option and associated hardware are specified around the vehicle’s actual rear parking-brake arrangement.

How does carbon ceramic braking behave in winter or on cold first stops?

An untuned cold carbon-ceramic disc can have less initial bite than cold iron. StopFlex specifies a matched pad compound and disc coating to reduce that cold-start gap, but the coldest first stops still deserve extra margin. Allow the brakes to build temperature before expecting their normal response, especially in winter driving.
