Yes — if your front factory calipers are fixed 4-piston or more. The rear axle has no restriction. Cars with 1- or 2-piston floating front calipers should use the Full Upgrade kit (calipers + discs) instead. Discs are built to the factory rotor specs shown above; if you run aftermarket calipers (Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, Wilwood), we simply confirm the caliper model, pad shape, and rotor dimensions before production.

Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface

Heat Management Note
Ceramic discs shrug off surface temperatures that would destroy iron, but the rest of the system still heats up: pads, fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels all absorb soak heat during repeated hard stops. For track days, long descents, and sustained hard driving, run brake cooling and high-temperature fluid.

Yes. This page covers the Mk3 Focus RS with the factory 350mm front rotor and its 4-piston front calipers, which is why the Direct Replacement approach works here — the carbon-ceramic disc, hat, and floating hardware are sized to bolt to those calipers. The rear 302mm reference is listed but not available in this kit, so plan on the front carbon-ceramic setup with the rear staying factory.
How do these behave in winter or on a cold first drive?
Honestly: a cold carbon-ceramic disc bites a little softer than cold iron on the first stop or two. That's normal physics, not a fault. We tuned both the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so on the RS your first-thing-in-the-morning braking now feels very close to a warm summer stop. Leave a little extra following distance on the coldest first stops and you'll be fine once temperature builds.
Is it worth the cost on a Focus RS versus staying with iron?
It depends on how you drive. If you run track days in the RS, the RS4-style 350mm front carbon-ceramic disc resists fade far better than the factory iron under repeated hard braking and cuts rotating and unsprung weight at each front corner. For a car that only sees commuting, iron is cheaper to justify. Most buyers on this page are chasing repeatable stops on track without warped iron rotors.
