Fitment here is bespoke: brackets, hat offsets, and caliper mounting are engineered for your exact model and trim rather than copied across the platform. Two trims with the same chassis code can still differ in knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel ET clearance — which is why we confirm your trim first, then build the matched system of calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and lines for it. Modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension points require review before ordering.
The 380 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 19" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Long Street-Service Life
In normal road use with matched pads and correct bedding, one StopFlex CCB rotor set is engineered to outlast several sets of iron replacement rotors, recovering part of the up-front cost.
Low Visible Dust
Matched with StopFlex pads, the system sheds a fraction of the dust an iron rotor and pad combination throws. Wheels stay clean for weeks of driving instead of days.
Premium Ceramic-Glaze Finish
StopFlex's proprietary coating gives the disc a bright ceramic-glaze surface with subtle texture — the factory carbon-ceramic look, clearly visible through open wheel designs.
Continuous Fiber Construction
StopFlex discs are built with long continuous carbon fiber instead of chopped short fiber. Continuous strands carry load across the whole rotor body, raising strength and thermal durability under heat cycles.

CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface
Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.
Winter & Cold-Weather Braking
Winter question, straight answer: untuned ceramic discs bite less when cold. StopFlex optimized the pad compound and the rotor's ceramic coating for cold operation, so cold-start braking in winter feels very close to warm-weather braking. Extra following distance on freezing first stops is still smart; severe-winter daily cars should run Street Spec.

Rear Caliper
The rear caliper is the Brembo V4 / GT4 / GTS4 4-piston on a 355 mm carbon-ceramic rotor, adding rear thermal capacity to match the front. Choose the V4 (OEM Cadillac CTS-V), GT4 (Brembo GT | M4), or GTS4 (Brembo GT | S4) to balance your setup.

Heat Management Note
Ceramic discs shrug off surface temperatures that would destroy iron, but the rest of the system still heats up: pads, fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels all absorb soak heat during repeated hard stops. For track days, long descents, and sustained hard driving, run brake cooling and high-temperature fluid.

FAQ
Will this kit fit my exact X6 trim, or is it a platform bolt-on?
It is bespoke per confirmed trim, not a platform-wide bolt-on. The F16 35i/50i and the F86 X6 M use different front uprights, hub geometry, and wheel clearance, so we cut the brackets and set the rotor-hat offsets to your specific car. Confirm your VIN and trim and we build the mounting to match it.
How do carbon-ceramic brakes behave in winter and cold starts?
A cold carbon-ceramic disc bites a little less than cold iron on the first stops — that is physics, not a defect. We tune both the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so cold-car feel now comes very close to summer feel. On the coldest first stops, leave a bit of extra following distance until the system warms.
What wheels do I need to clear these brakes?
The front rotor is 380 mm, so 19-inch wheels are the minimum. Wheels under 19 inches will not clear the caliper and rotor, and spoke clearance matters too — send us your wheel specs and offset so we confirm before you order.
Does the rear kit keep my electronic parking brake?
Yes. The X6 and X6 M use a factory electronic parking brake, and the rear Brembo V4 / GT4 / GTS4 4-piston setup on the 355 mm rotor is engineered to retain full EPB function so parking and hill-hold work as they did stock.
