Trims that share a chassis name can differ mechanically: a pure performance variant often carries different knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel ET clearance than the standard models, so parts that bolt onto one are not the parts that fit the other. Calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and brake lines ship as one matched system built to your confirmed trim. Modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension mounting points must be reviewed before ordering.
The 380 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 19" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability

The front runs the Brembo V6 / GT6 / GTS6 6-piston caliper over a 380 mm carbon-ceramic rotor, and you pick the option: V6 is the Brembo OEM Cadillac CTS-V caliper, GT6 is the Brembo GT | M6, GTS6 is the Brembo GT | S6. Six pistons over a fixed body give consistent clamp and a firm pedal on repeated stops from a heavy E70.

Heat Management Note
Ceramic discs shrug off surface temperatures that would destroy iron, but the rest of the system still heats up: pads, fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels all absorb soak heat during repeated hard stops. For track days, long descents, and sustained hard driving, run brake cooling and high-temperature fluid.

Will this fit my exact E70 — 35i, 50i, or X5 M?
It fits after we confirm your trim, because the 35i, 50i, and X5 M don't share identical brake geometry. The X5 M in particular runs different front knuckles and hub geometry than the standard E70, so brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting are cut for your specific car. We don't ship a platform-wide bolt-on and assume the E70 name covers it.
What wheels do I need to clear the 380 mm front rotor?
You need a minimum 19-inch wheel to clear the 380 mm front disc and the 6-piston caliper. Spoke shape matters too — a 19-inch wheel with tight inner spokes can still contact the caliper, so send us your wheel details when we confirm fitment.
How do carbon-ceramic brakes behave in winter and cold starts?
A cold carbon-ceramic disc naturally bites less than cold iron on the first stops — that's physics, not a fault. We've tuned both the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so cold-car feel on this X5 now comes very close to summer feel. On the coldest first stops, leave a little extra following distance until everything is up to temperature.
Which front caliper option should I choose?
All three clamp a 380 mm rotor with 6 pistons. Pick V6 (Brembo OEM Cadillac CTS-V) for OE provenance, GT6 (Brembo GT | M6) for the standard track-oriented body, or GTS6 (Brembo GT | S6) for the same footprint with the S-series finish. Pedal feel and clamping are consistent across the three; the choice is provenance and finish.
