About the Disc

2024-2026 BMW X2 M35i (U10) Carbon Ceramic Brake Kits

The U10 BMW X2 M35i is a compact coupe-SUV with genuine M Performance intent, but it still lives mostly as a fast daily. Buyers usually want sharper response, less wheel dust, and better fade resistance without upsetting factory usability.

  • Body style: SUV Coupe
  • Front rotor reference: X2 M35i: 385mm
  • Rear rotor reference: X2 M35i: 330mm

This is an OEM-size replacement kit. The rotors are built to the factory rotor spec and install with the factory caliper when the front caliper is a fixed design and the rotor spec matches. The included pad shape matches the OEM pad shape. If the car uses aftermarket calipers such as Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, or Wilwood, provide the exact caliper model and StopFlex can supply the matching pad shape. Direct replacement is not confirmed if the front caliper is floating, or if the car already runs a non-OEM-offset rotor and the actual rotor dimensions cannot be supplied.

Why StopFlex CCB

Lightweight

Half the Weight, Sharper Handling. StopFlex carbon-ceramic rotors shed roughly half the mass of equivalent iron discs. This massive drop in unsprung weight instantly transforms your chassis, delivering sharper turn-in response and a significantly more refined road feel.

High-Temp Resistance

Minimal Brake Fade at 900°C (1652°F). While traditional iron rotors severely fade under heavy track loads, our CCB matrix holds a stable 0.30μ friction coefficient even at 900°C (1652°F). You get consistent, predictable stopping power when things get dangerously hot.

Corrosion Resistance

100% Rust-Free Durability. Say goodbye to flash rust after a car wash or heavy rain. The carbon-silicon carbide material is naturally impervious to corrosion, ensuring your brake rotors look completely clean and pristine no matter the weather conditions.

Long Lifespan

250,000+ km (155,000+ mi) Lifespan. Iron rotors typically require replacement around 100,000 km (62,000 mi). In normal street driving conditions, a StopFlex CCB rotor can easily last 250,000 to 300,000 km (155,000 to 186,000 mi), effectively outlasting the vehicle itself.

Ultra-Low Dust

Ultra-Low Visible Brake Dust. Heavy black dust destroying your wheel finish is a thing of the past. When paired with our matched StopFlex pads, these rotors generate virtually zero visible brake dust, keeping your premium wheels spotless for much longer.

Premium Visual Finish

Premium Mirror-Like Finish. StopFlex utilizes a patented ceramic formula that cures with a distinct crackle pattern. The surface is machined dead-smooth for high reflectivity, providing a premium aesthetic behind open wheels under the right lighting.

High Normal-Temp Friction

Strong Initial Bite (0.40μ+). With matched StopFlex pads, normal-temperature friction can exceed 0.40μ for a firmer pedal feel and strong initial bite.

Long-Fiber Construction

Continuous Long-Fiber Strength. StopFlex utilizes a continuous long-fiber 3D matrix. This structure is significantly stronger and offers higher thermal conductivity than standard chopped-fiber OEM CCM discs.

Cold First-Stop Confidence

Reliable Cold-Bite at -20°C (-4°F). Coated street rotors still deliver normal first-stop braking at -20°C (-4°F). Uncoated motorsport rotors are the exception.

Important heat note

Carbon ceramic does not shed heat as fast as steel. Long hard driving can heat-soak the rest of the brake system, including fluid, seals, and nearby parts. Unless the car already has strong brake cooling, or you plan to upgrade brake cooling, prolonged aggressive driving is not recommended.

Rotor options

BMW X2 M35i (U10) Street Spec carbon ceramic rotor

Street Spec

Ceramic coating + cross-drilled face + large cooling channels.

Street: stay with the stock-size ceramic conversion for the cleanest fit, easiest wheel compatibility, and best daily balance.

BMW X2 M35i (U10) Track-Day Spec carbon ceramic rotor

Track-Day Spec

Ceramic coating + blank face + honeycomb cooling channels.

Trackday: stock-size ceramic setup works for spirited and occasional hard use if the car keeps its factory calipers and proper pad choice.

BMW X2 M35i (U10) Motorsport Spec carbon ceramic rotor

Motorsport Spec

No coating + blank face + honeycomb cooling channels. Not for normal street use.

Motorsport: for repeated extended lapping, confirm cooling, pad strategy, and caliper limits first rather than assuming a ceramic swap alone is enough.

FAQ

Can I upgrade my BMW X2 M35i (U10) to a StopFlex carbon ceramic brake kit while keeping the factory calipers?

Usually yes if your X2 M35i has the standard iron-brake package this kit is built around. If your car has a different caliper or brake option, confirm caliper shape and current rotor size before ordering.

What is the correct StopFlex carbon ceramic brake size for my 2024-2026 BMW X2 M35i (U10)?

For this row, the matching setup is 385mm front and 330mm rear. That is the safe starting point unless your car has a non-standard brake package or prior aftermarket changes.

Is a StopFlex carbon ceramic brake kit on the BMW X2 M35i (U10) still good for daily street use and cold first stops?

Yes, that is usually the right use case for this vehicle when the kit is matched correctly. Most owners of an X2 M35i want daily drivability first, so choose a street-focused setup if cold response matters more than repeated hard braking.

Will my BMW X2 M35i (U10) need extra cooling with a StopFlex carbon ceramic brake kit for hard driving?

For normal street use, usually no extra cooling is needed. For repeated downhill runs or prolonged aggressive driving, heat management still matters, so fresh fluid, proper pads, and realistic expectations are more important than assuming the ceramic kit solves everything.
