Keep Your Factory Calipers?
The rule is simple: front factory calipers must be 4-piston or more; the rear has no limit. A 1- or 2-piston floating front setup cannot take direct-replacement discs — that car needs the Full Upgrade kit with calipers. We build to the factory rotor specs above. Aftermarket calipers (Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, Wilwood) work too — send the caliper model, pad shape, and rotor size for confirmation first.
Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance — confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Why Carbon Ceramic — and Why StopFlex
Continuous Fiber Construction
StopFlex discs are built with long continuous carbon fiber instead of chopped short fiber. Continuous strands carry load across the whole rotor body, raising strength and thermal durability under heat cycles.
Bespoke Per-Vehicle Engineering
Every order is machined to the confirmed vehicle and trim. Brackets, hat offsets, and pad shapes are built for that exact car — never pulled from a one-size-fits-all catalog.
CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface
Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.
Long Street-Service Life

Heat Management Note
Carbon ceramic rotors tolerate extreme surface temperature, but they do not remove every heat-management requirement. During repeated hard stops, heat still soaks into pads, fluid, seals, calipers, wheels, and nearby components. For long track sessions, mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving, brake cooling and high-temperature fluid are still recommended.

Does this fit my M2 if I kept the standard iron-brake package?
Yes. This kit is built for G87 M2 cars that came with the factory 380mm front / 370mm rear iron setup, and it reuses your existing calipers. The stock M2 front caliper is a fixed 4-piston unit, which is exactly what a Direct Replacement carbon-ceramic conversion needs. If your car is an M2 CS that already left the factory with 400mm front / 380mm rear carbon-ceramic discs, match the CS rotor sizes listed on this page, not the base M2 sizes.
Will these clear my factory 19-inch or 20-inch wheels?
Yes. Because the rotors match your factory diameters — 380mm front and 370mm rear on the M2 — the discs sit in the same envelope as the iron parts they replace and clear the OEM 19-inch front / 20-inch rear staggered wheels. We do not increase rotor diameter, so wheel and caliper clearance stays identical to stock. Send us your exact trim and wheel spec and we'll confirm before you order.
How do carbon-ceramic brakes behave on a cold winter morning?
Honest answer: an untuned carbon-ceramic disc bites less than cold iron on the first stop — that's normal ceramic physics, not a fault. StopFlex tunes for it two ways. The pad is a carbon-ceramic-specific low-metallic resin compound with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, and the disc carries a cold-optimized ceramic coating. Together they bring cold-car feel very close to warm feel. On the coldest first stops of the day, still leave a little extra following distance until the front axle wakes up.
Does swapping to these rotors affect the electronic parking brake?
No. The G87 M2 uses an electronic parking brake acting on the rear caliper, and this kit reuses that same rear caliper. The floating hardware and hats are sized so the EPB engages the rear rotor exactly as it did from the factory. Nothing in the parking-brake circuit changes, and the dash function stays the same.
