This kit is built per car, not per platform. We engineer the brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting to your confirmed model and trim, because trims sharing a chassis name frequently differ underneath — performance variants can run different knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel ET clearance than their standard siblings. You receive calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and brake lines as one matched, trim-specific system. Cars with modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension mounting points need review before ordering.
The 380 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 19" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Make It Yours — Color & Logo Customization
Every StopFlex kit order can be finished with custom caliper colors, a custom caliper logo, and custom rotor hat colors — the brake package matches your exact build, not a fixed off-the-shelf look.

Why Carbon Ceramic — and Why StopFlex
Low Visible Dust
Matched with StopFlex pads, the system sheds a fraction of the dust an iron rotor and pad combination throws. Wheels stay clean for weeks of driving instead of days.
Premium Ceramic-Glaze Finish
StopFlex's proprietary coating gives the disc a bright ceramic-glaze surface with subtle texture — the factory carbon-ceramic look, clearly visible through open wheel designs.
Continuous Fiber Construction
StopFlex discs are built with long continuous carbon fiber instead of chopped short fiber. Continuous strands carry load across the whole rotor body, raising strength and thermal durability under heat cycles.
Bespoke Per-Vehicle Engineering
Every order is machined to the confirmed vehicle and trim. Brackets, hat offsets, and pad shapes are built for that exact car — never pulled from a one-size-fits-all catalog.
CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface
Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.
Long Street-Service Life
In normal road use with matched pads and correct bedding, one StopFlex CCB rotor set is engineered to outlast several sets of iron replacement rotors, recovering part of the up-front cost.
Winter & Cold-Weather Braking
Winter question, straight answer: untuned ceramic discs bite less when cold. StopFlex optimized the pad compound and the rotor's ceramic coating for cold operation, so cold-start braking in winter feels very close to warm-weather braking. Extra following distance on freezing first stops is still smart; severe-winter daily cars should run Street Spec.
Caliper Overview
Front Caliper
The front uses a Brembo 6-piston caliper originally engineered for the Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang, mounted to a 380mm carbon-ceramic rotor. Six pistons spread clamp load evenly across a long pad, which keeps pedal feel consistent from the first stop through repeated hard braking.
Rear Caliper
The rear runs a Brembo 4-piston caliper, chosen from three options: V4 (Brembo OEM Cadillac CTS-V), GT4 (Brembo GT | M4), or GTS4 (Brembo GT | S4), all on a 355mm rotor. Each adds real rear thermal capacity to balance the larger front setup on an F10/F11 that carries weight rearward under load.
Choose Your Rotor: Street, Track-Day, or Motorsport

Street Spec
Ceramic coating, cross-drilled face, and large cooling channels.
Best for daily driving and premium street builds that need clean cold bite, low dust, corrosion-free appearance, and long service life.

Track-Day Spec
Ceramic coating, blank face, and honeycomb cooling channels.
Best for fast-road and track-day use where repeated braking stability matters more than maximum visual drilling style.

Motorsport Spec
Uncoated blank face with honeycomb cooling channels.
Best for race-focused builds that run competition pads, high-temperature fluid, cooling strategy, and a proper warm-up window. Not the default street choice.
Heat Management Note
Ceramic discs shrug off surface temperatures that would destroy iron, but the rest of the system still heats up: pads, fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels all absorb soak heat during repeated hard stops. For track days, long descents, and sustained hard driving, run brake cooling and high-temperature fluid.
Get Your Fitment Confirmed
Send the exact vehicle details, current rotor sizes, and caliper type before ordering. Every StopFlex order is confirmed against your VIN-level configuration before production.
FAQ
Will this fit my exact F10 or F11, and does the M5 differ?
Every kit is built to your confirmed trim, not the platform. The F10 M5 uses different front knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel clearance than a 528i, 535i, or 550i, so we cut the brackets and set the rotor-hat offsets to match your specific car. We confirm your VIN and trim before anything ships—no assumed platform-wide bolt-on.
What wheels do I need to clear the 380mm front rotor?
The 380mm front disc and 6-piston GT500 caliper require a minimum 19-inch wheel, and spoke clearance matters as much as diameter. Send us your wheel make, model, and offset and we'll verify clearance before you order. Most factory 19s and 20s on 550i and M5 cars clear, but concave spoke designs need checking.
How do these brakes behave in cold winter weather?
A cold carbon-ceramic disc naturally bites less than cold iron on the very first stop—that's physics, not a fault. We tune both the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so cold-car feel comes very close to warm-day feel after the first light stop. On the coldest first stops of the day, leave a little extra following distance until the system is up to temperature.
Does this work with the F10's electric parking brake?
Yes. The F10/F11 and M5 use a factory electromechanical parking brake, and the rear caliper option is set up to retain it, so your dash button and Auto Hold function normally. We match the correct rear caliper and hat offset to keep the EPB integrated on your trim.
