Will This Fit My Car?
Full Upgrade CCB Big Brake Kits (With Calipers) for the 2011-2019 BMW 1 Series (F20/F21). This page's exact brake setup:
| Model Years | Front Setup | Rear Setup | Min. Wheel Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2011-2019 | Brembo V6 / GT6 / GTS6 6-Piston Caliper Options / 380mm | Brembo V4 / GT4 / GTS4 4-Piston Caliper Options / 355mm | 19" |
Every StopFlex kit is bespoke-engineered for your exact model and trim — brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting are matched to your specific car, never assumed from the platform. Trims that share a chassis name can differ mechanically: a pure performance variant often carries different knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel ET clearance than the standard models, so parts that bolt onto one are not the parts that fit the other. Calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and brake lines ship as one matched system built to your confirmed trim. Modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension mounting points must be reviewed before ordering.
The 380 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 19" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Why Carbon Ceramic — and Why StopFlex
Bespoke Per-Vehicle Engineering
Every order is machined to the confirmed vehicle and trim. Brackets, hat offsets, and pad shapes are built for that exact car — never pulled from a one-size-fits-all catalog.
CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A like-size carbon-ceramic rotor can be materially lighter than an iron disc; the exact saving depends on rotor dimensions. Lower rotating, unsprung mass can reduce the load the suspension has to control.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction material is selected for high-temperature stability and fade resistance. Overall pedal feel still depends on pad condition, fluid, caliper stiffness, cooling and operating temperature.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface
Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.
Long Street-Service Life
In normal road use with matched pads and correct bedding, carbon-ceramic friction surfaces are designed for low wear. Actual service life depends on mileage, contamination, pad choice, heat cycles and driving use.
Low Visible Dust
Matched StopFlex pads are selected for low visible dust on the ceramic friction surface. Actual wheel dust still varies with pad choice, traffic, temperature, bedding and driving intensity.
Premium Ceramic-Glaze Finish
StopFlex's proprietary coating gives the disc a bright ceramic-glaze surface with subtle texture — the factory carbon-ceramic look, clearly visible through open wheel designs.
Short-Fiber or Long-Fiber — Your Call
Every StopFlex disc is true carbon-ceramic. Short-Fiber Street Spec uses a simpler chopped-fiber process for a lower price and street-only duty; the Long-Fiber line uses continuous carbon strands that carry load across the whole rotor for higher strength and thermal durability — the pick for track and race heat.
Winter & Cold-Weather Braking
Cold-weather trade-off: an untuned carbon-ceramic disc can have less initial bite than cold iron. StopFlex specifies a matched pad compound and ceramic coating tuned to reduce that cold-start gap, but the coldest first stops still deserve extra following distance. Severe-winter daily drivers should choose a Street Spec.
Caliper Overview
Front Caliper
The front uses Brembo V6 / GT6 / GTS6 6-Piston Caliper Options with a 380 mm rotor. Select the mapped V6, GT6, or GTS6 configuration only after exact model and trim confirmation.
Rear Caliper
The rear uses Brembo V4 / GT4 / GTS4 4-Piston Caliper Options with a 355 mm rotor. It is included as part of this full front-and-rear upgrade, with rear mounting confirmed for the exact vehicle.
Choose Your Rotor: Short-Fiber Street to Long-Fiber Motorsport
Four specs, one rule of thumb: all are real carbon-ceramic discs. Short-Fiber Street Spec is the lower-cost route for street-only driving. The three Long-Fiber specs use continuous carbon strands for higher strength and heat durability, and are the only choice for track-day or motorsport use.

Short-Fiber Street Spec
Chopped short-fiber carbon-ceramic body, ceramic coating, cross-drilled face.
Choose this for street-only use when purchase price matters most. It keeps the carbon-ceramic friction surface and coated finish, but it is not specified for track sessions.

Long-Fiber Street Spec
Continuous long-fiber body, ceramic coating, cross-drilled face, large cooling channels.
Choose this for daily and fast-road use when you want the long-fiber construction without moving to a track-focused face and cooling specification.

Long-Fiber Track-Day Spec
Continuous long-fiber body, ceramic coating, blank face, honeycomb cooling channels.
Choose this for repeated fast-road or track-day braking where thermal duty matters more than the drilled street appearance. High-temperature fluid and appropriate cooling still matter.

Long-Fiber Motorsport Spec
Continuous long-fiber body, uncoated blank face, honeycomb cooling channels.
Choose this for competition-focused use with the corresponding pad, fluid, cooling and warm-up strategy. It is not the default recommendation for a street-driven car.
Heat Management Note
High rotor temperature tolerance does not mean heat management disappears. Under repeated hard braking, heat migrates into the pads, brake fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels even when the ceramic disc itself is comfortable. Plan brake cooling and high-temperature fluid for extended track sessions, long mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving.

FAQ
Does this kit fit every 2011-2019 BMW 1 Series F20/F21?
No. This full upgrade is built after confirmation of the exact 2011-2019 BMW 1 Series F20/F21 model and trim. The listed setup uses a 380 mm front rotor with Brembo V6 / GT6 / GTS6 6-Piston Caliper Options and a 355 mm rear rotor with Brembo V4 / GT4 / GTS4 4-Piston Caliper Options. Brackets, hat offsets, and caliper mounting are confirmed per car, not assumed from the shared chassis.
How do these carbon-ceramic brakes behave in cold or winter driving?
An untuned cold carbon-ceramic disc can have less initial bite than cold iron. This kit uses a matched pad compound and disc coating intended to reduce that cold-start gap, but the first stops in very cold conditions still deserve extra margin. Do not expect identical cold and warm braking behavior.
Which rotor specification should I choose?
Choose Short-Fiber Street Spec for the lower-cost, street-only option. Long-Fiber Street suits broader street use, while Long-Fiber Track-Day and Motorsport are the long-fiber choices for progressively higher heat and duty requirements. Select the rotor specification around how the car will actually be used, then confirm the complete configuration before ordering.
What wheel clearance and parking-brake details should I confirm?
The 380 mm front configuration requires at least a 19-inch wheel. That diameter is only the starting point: spoke profile and offset still need physical clearance confirmation. The F20/F21 uses a manual parking-brake lever rather than an electronic parking brake, so this listing does not involve EPB retention.
