2008-2013 BMW 1 Series / 1M Coupé (E82) CCB Big Brake Kit — Genuine Brembo GT6 Front + Genuine Brembo GT4 Rear Setup
E82 135i, 135is, and 1M owners shop this kit when the factory iron brakes run out of heat capacity on repeated hard stops, coat open wheels in dust, or add more rotating mass than a track-focused coupe needs. This StopFlex kit pairs Brembo V6 / GT6 / GTS6 6-Piston Caliper Options with 380 mm front carbon-ceramic rotors and Brembo V4 / GT4 / GTS4 4-piston rear options on 355 mm rear carbon-ceramic rotors. Each kit is engineered around the confirmed E82 trim because the standard 1 Series coupe and 1M Coupé do not share every brake-mounting and clearance assumption.
- 380 mm front carbon-ceramic rotors require 19-inch or larger wheels on the E82; spoke clearance must still be checked against the selected Brembo 6-piston caliper.
- Front choices are V6, GT6, or GTS6 6-piston Brembo calipers, each paired with a 380 mm rotor for the heat load of turbocharged 135i/135is and 1M use.
- Rear choices are V4, GT4, or GTS4 4-piston Brembo calipers on 355 mm rotors, giving the E82 a matched rear package instead of leaving the factory rear brake to trail a large front-only conversion.

| Minimum wheel size | 19" (for the 380 mm front rotor) |
Every StopFlex kit is bespoke-engineered for your exact model and trim — the brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting are matched to your specific car, not assumed from the platform. This matters because trims that share a chassis name can differ mechanically: a pure M or performance variant often carries different front knuckles/uprights, hub geometry, and wheel axial (ET) clearance than the standard models in the same family, so a bracket and hat offset that bolt onto one are not the same parts that fit the other. StopFlex supplies the calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and brake lines as a matched system built to your confirmed trim. Cars with modified knuckles, modified uprights, or non-factory suspension mounting points must be reviewed before ordering and are not treated as direct-fit.
This setup uses a 380 mm front rotor, so the minimum wheel size is 19". Wheels under 19" will not clear the caliper and rotor, and spoke profile and offset affect clearance too — confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Caliper Overview — Front & Rear Balance
Front Caliper (Primary Upgrade)
The front axle uses Brembo V6 / GT6 / GTS6 6-Piston Caliper Options, selected by the buyer: V6 = Genuine Brembo OEM Cadillac CTS-V 6-Piston Caliper with a 380 mm rotor, GT6 = Genuine Brembo GT | M6 6-Piston Caliper with a 380 mm rotor, and GTS6 = Genuine Brembo GT | S6 6-Piston Caliper with a 380 mm rotor. The 6-piston layout spreads clamping load across the pad for stable pedal response and better heat management during repeated high-speed stops. These are genuine Brembo caliper options, not cosmetic covers or unbranded castings.
Rear Caliper (Balance)
The rear axle uses Brembo V4 / GT4 / GTS4 4-Piston Caliper Options on a 355 mm carbon-ceramic rotor: V4 = Genuine Brembo OEM Cadillac CTS-V 4-Piston Caliper, GT4 = Genuine Brembo GT | M4 4-Piston Caliper, and GTS4 = Genuine Brembo GT | S4 4-Piston Caliper. The rear package is sized to support brake balance and stability under trail braking instead of leaving the rear axle undersized behind a 380 mm front conversion.
Front & rear, engineered together: The 380 mm front and 355 mm rear carbon-ceramic package is engineered as a system so piston area, rotor diameter, hat offset, and bracket geometry are matched to the confirmed E82 trim. That matters on this chassis because a 1M Coupé and a standard 128i or 135i coupe can require different assumptions for uprights, hub geometry, and wheel clearance.
Make It Yours — Color & Logo Customization
Every StopFlex kit-upgrade order can be finished with custom caliper colors, a custom caliper logo, and custom rotor hat colors, so the brake package matches your exact build instead of a fixed off-the-shelf look.
- Custom caliper color
- Custom caliper logo

Why StopFlex CCB
Lower Unsprung Mass
StopFlex carbon-ceramic rotors are engineered to reduce rotor mass versus comparable iron discs, helping the suspension react cleaner and the steering feel more precise.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide matrix is built for stable braking behavior at temperatures that can push iron rotors into heavy fade.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface
Carbon ceramic does not form orange flash rust after rain, washing, or storage, keeping the visible rotor face cleaner behind open wheels.
Long Street-Service Potential
In normal road use with matched pads and proper bedding, StopFlex CCB rotors are designed for far longer service life than typical iron replacement rotors.
Low Visible Dust
When paired with matched StopFlex pads, the system produces very low visible brake dust compared with conventional iron rotor and pad combinations.
Premium Ceramic-Glaze Appearance
StopFlex's proprietary coating creates a bright, high-end ceramic-glaze finish with subtle glaze texture and a more premium visual character behind open wheels.
Street-Usable Cold Bite
Street Spec and Track-Day Spec rotors are designed for normal first-stop road use, including cold-weather operation. Motorsport Spec is the competition-focused exception.
Continuous Fiber Reinforcement
Long-fiber carbon ceramic construction improves structural strength and thermal durability versus chopped-fiber approaches.
Heat Management Note
Carbon ceramic rotors tolerate extreme surface temperature, but they do not remove every heat-management requirement. During repeated hard stops, heat can still soak into pads, fluid, seals, calipers, wheels, and nearby components. For long track sessions, mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving, brake cooling and high-temperature fluid are still recommended.
Street / Track-Day / Motorsport Rotor Options

Street Spec
Ceramic coating, cross-drilled face, and large cooling channels.
Best for daily driving and premium street builds that need clean cold bite, low dust, corrosion-free appearance, and long service life.

Track-Day Spec
Ceramic coating, blank face, and honeycomb cooling channels.
Best for fast-road and track-day use where repeated braking stability matters more than maximum visual drilling style.

Motorsport Spec
Uncoated blank face with honeycomb cooling channels.
Best for race-focused builds that run competition pads, high-temperature fluid, cooling strategy, and a proper warm-up window. Not the default street choice.

FAQ
Will this kit fit my exact E82 trim?
StopFlex does not treat every E82 as the same brake platform. A 128i, 135i, 135is, and 1M Coupé can differ in mounting geometry and clearance, so brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting are confirmed for your exact model, trim, and wheel package before production.
What wheel size do I need for the 380 mm front setup?
The 380 mm front rotor requires 19-inch or larger wheels. Wheel diameter is only the first check; spoke shape, wheel offset, barrel profile, and the selected Brembo V6, GT6, or GTS6 caliper must also clear.
Does the E82 rear kit keep the parking brake?
The E82 uses a manual cable parking brake, not an EPB motor. Rear fitment is engineered around the car’s mechanical parking-brake arrangement when the 355 mm rear carbon-ceramic rotor and Brembo 4-piston caliper package are specified.
Why choose carbon-ceramic instead of another iron big-brake kit?
Carbon-ceramic rotors reduce brake dust and rotating mass compared with typical iron performance rotors, while adding heat capacity for repeated hard stops. On a compact E82 coupe used for canyon driving, track days, or high-output street builds, that combination improves consistency without relying only on a larger iron rotor.
