Keep Your Factory Calipers?
Keep them if the front calipers are fixed 4-piston or more — the rear axle qualifies regardless. Front 1- or 2-piston floating calipers rule out the disc-only route; choose the Full Upgrade kit instead. Every set is machined to the factory rotor specs listed above, and aftermarket calipers (Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, Wilwood) only need the caliper model, pad shape, and rotor dimensions confirmed before we build.
Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance — confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Why Carbon Ceramic — and Why StopFlex
CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface

Heat Management Note
Ceramic discs shrug off surface temperatures that would destroy iron, but the rest of the system still heats up: pads, fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels all absorb soak heat during repeated hard stops. For track days, long descents, and sustained hard driving, run brake cooling and high-temperature fluid.

FAQ
How do these fit an RS6 versus an S6? The rotor sizes are different.
Fitment is trim- and size-specific. RS6 C7 cars ran either 390mm or 420mm front discs (the 420mm being the factory CCB option), while the S6 C7 used 400mm fronts. Both trims share the 356mm rear. You select the exact front diameter your car left the factory with, and the kit ships rotors, hats, and floating hardware sized to bolt to your existing calipers. Confirm your front rotor diameter before ordering, since a 390mm and a 420mm RS6 are not interchangeable.
Do I keep my factory calipers, or does this replace them?
You keep your factory calipers. This is a Direct Replacement disc kit: carbon-ceramic rotors, pads, hats, and floating hardware that reuse the C7's original calipers front and rear. Direct Replacement is valid because the RS6/S6 front calipers are multi-piston (4-piston or more). That keeps cost far below a full dealer CCB replacement and avoids caliper re-plumbing or bracket changes.
How do these behave in winter on a cold RS6/S6?
Physics first: any cold carbon-ceramic disc bites a little less than cold iron before it warms up. That is normal, not a defect. StopFlex tuned both the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating specifically for cold starts, so on a cold C7 the first-stop feel now comes very close to summer feel. On the coldest mornings, leave a little extra following distance for the first couple of stops while the front 390/400/420mm rotors come up to temperature, then they behave like a fully warm system.
Will these clear my wheels and work with the parking brake?
The C7 RS6/S6 uses an electronic parking brake integrated into the rear caliper, and these 356mm rear rotors are dimensioned to keep that EPB function intact. For clearance, the front discs match your factory 390mm, 400mm, or 420mm diameter, so any wheel that cleared your original brakes will clear these. If you run aftermarket wheels, verify against your current setup before ordering.
