This kit is built per car, not per platform. We engineer the brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting to your confirmed model and trim, because trims sharing a chassis name frequently differ underneath — performance variants can run different knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel ET clearance than their standard siblings. You receive calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and brake lines as one matched, trim-specific system. Cars with modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension mounting points need review before ordering.
The 380 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 19" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Bespoke Per-Vehicle Engineering
Every order is machined to the confirmed vehicle and trim. Brackets, hat offsets, and pad shapes are built for that exact car — never pulled from a one-size-fits-all catalog.
CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.

Caliper Overview
Front Caliper
The front runs the Akebono OEM Audi S 6-Piston (8N) caliper, the same monobloc unit Audi fits to its S-line models, clamping a 380mm carbon-ceramic rotor. Six pistons spread pad pressure evenly, which keeps pedal feel firm and consistent when you repeat-stop a 5,000-plus-pound Q7 or SQ7 from highway speed.
Rear Caliper
The rear uses the TTSPORT EP4 4-Piston forged caliper with a dedicated EPB actuator piston, so you keep the factory electronic parking brake while adding real rear-axle thermal capacity on the 380mm rotor. It runs four 28mm hydraulic pistons plus one 27mm EPB piston, a two-piece forged-aluminum body around 4.50 kg per caliper, and two-piece heat-insulated pistons; the EP4 and larger EP4S share the same engineering, so the choice comes down to your rear-rotor sizing and spoke clearance.

Heat Management Note
High rotor temperature tolerance does not mean heat management disappears. Under repeated hard braking, heat migrates into the pads, brake fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels even when the ceramic disc itself is comfortable. Plan brake cooling and high-temperature fluid for extended track sessions, long mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving.

Will this kit fit my exact Q7 or SQ7 trim?
We build to your confirmed trim, not to the 4M platform as a whole. The SQ7 uses different front knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel clearance than a standard Q7, so the brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting are machined for your specific car. We do not sell this as a universal bolt-on; send us your VIN and wheel details and we confirm the setup before anything ships.
What wheel size do I need to clear these rotors?
The front and rear both use 380mm carbon-ceramic rotors, so 19-inch wheels are the minimum. Anything under 19 inches will not clear the rotor, and spoke shape matters too, so we check your specific wheel against the Akebono 8N front caliper before confirming fitment.
How do these brakes behave in cold winter driving?
An untuned carbon-ceramic disc bites a little less than cold iron on the first stops of a cold morning. That is normal physics, not a defect. We tuned both the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so on this kit winter cold-car feel comes very close to summer feel. On the coldest first stops, leave a little extra following distance until the system warms.
Do I keep my electronic parking brake?
Yes. The rear TTSPORT EP4 caliper has a dedicated EPB actuator piston separate from its four hydraulic braking pistons, so the factory electronic parking brake on your Q7 or SQ7 works exactly as it did from Audi. You gain rear thermal capacity without losing OE convenience.
