Will This Fit My Car?
Full Upgrade CCB Big Brake Kits (With Calipers) for the 2005-2011 Audi RS6 (C6). This page's exact brake setup:
| Model Years | Front Setup | Rear Setup | Min. Wheel Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2005-2011 | Akebono OEM Audi RS 6-Piston (9N) Caliper / 400mm | TTSPORT EP4 4-Piston Forged Caliper integrated with EPB / 380mm | 20" |
Fitment here is bespoke: brackets, hat offsets, and caliper mounting are engineered for your exact model and trim rather than copied across the platform. Two trims with the same chassis code can still differ in knuckles, hub geometry, and wheel ET clearance — which is why we confirm your trim first, then build the matched system of calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and lines for it. Modified knuckles, uprights, or non-factory suspension points require review before ordering.
The 400 mm rotor sets the minimum wheel size at 20" — smaller wheels will not clear the caliper and rotor. Spoke profile and offset also affect clearance; confirm your exact wheels before ordering.
| Wheel Size (Standard) | Disc Range |
|---|---|
| 15" | 260 mm – 285 mm |
| 16" | 285 mm – 300 mm |
| 17" | 300 mm – 330 mm |
| 18" | 330 mm – 355 mm |
| 19" | 355 mm – 380 mm |
| 20" | 380 mm – 400 mm |
| 21" | 400 mm – 420 mm |

Make It Yours — Color & Logo Customization
Every StopFlex kit order can be finished with custom caliper colors, a custom caliper logo, and custom rotor hat colors — the brake package matches your exact build, not a fixed off-the-shelf look.

Why Carbon Ceramic — and Why StopFlex
Low Visible Dust
Matched StopFlex pads are selected for low visible dust on the ceramic friction surface. Actual wheel dust still varies with pad choice, traffic, temperature, bedding and driving intensity.
Premium Ceramic-Glaze Finish
StopFlex's proprietary coating gives the disc a bright ceramic-glaze surface with subtle texture — the factory carbon-ceramic look, clearly visible through open wheel designs.
Short-Fiber or Long-Fiber — Your Call
Every StopFlex disc is true carbon-ceramic. Short-Fiber Street Spec uses a simpler chopped-fiber process for a lower price and street-only duty; the Long-Fiber line uses continuous carbon strands that carry load across the whole rotor for higher strength and thermal durability — the pick for track and race heat.
Bespoke Per-Vehicle Engineering
Every order is machined to the confirmed vehicle and trim. Brackets, hat offsets, and pad shapes are built for that exact car — never pulled from a one-size-fits-all catalog.
CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A like-size carbon-ceramic rotor can be materially lighter than an iron disc; the exact saving depends on rotor dimensions. Lower rotating, unsprung mass can reduce the load the suspension has to control.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction material is selected for high-temperature stability and fade resistance. Overall pedal feel still depends on pad condition, fluid, caliper stiffness, cooling and operating temperature.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface
Ceramic discs cannot flash-rust. After rain, a wash, or weeks of parking, the rotor face behind your open-spoke wheels stays clean — no orange ring on a freshly detailed car.
Long Street-Service Life
In normal road use with matched pads and correct bedding, carbon-ceramic friction surfaces are designed for low wear. Actual service life depends on mileage, contamination, pad choice, heat cycles and driving use.
Winter & Cold-Weather Braking
On a freezing start, carbon-ceramic friction can feel different from warm operation. StopFlex pairs the disc coating with its matched street pad to improve cold response; it is still prudent to leave extra margin for the first stops in severe cold. Use a Street Spec for harsh-winter daily service.
Caliper Overview
Front Caliper
The front upgrade uses the Akebono OEM Audi RS 6-Piston (9N) Caliper with a supplied 400mm rotor. This is the fixed front configuration for this full kit.
Rear Caliper
The rear setup uses the TTSPORT EP4 4-Piston Forged Caliper integrated with EPB and a 380mm rotor. It retains the factory electronic parking-brake function.
Choose Your Rotor: Short-Fiber Street to Long-Fiber Motorsport
Four specs, one rule of thumb: all are real carbon-ceramic discs. Short-Fiber Street Spec is the lower-cost route for street-only driving. The three Long-Fiber specs use continuous carbon strands for higher strength and heat durability, and are the only choice for track-day or motorsport use.

Short-Fiber Street Spec
Chopped short-fiber carbon-ceramic body, ceramic coating, cross-drilled face.
Choose this for street-only use when purchase price matters most. It keeps the carbon-ceramic friction surface and coated finish, but it is not specified for track sessions.

Long-Fiber Street Spec
Continuous long-fiber body, ceramic coating, cross-drilled face, large cooling channels.
Choose this for daily and fast-road use when you want the long-fiber construction without moving to a track-focused face and cooling specification.

Long-Fiber Track-Day Spec
Continuous long-fiber body, ceramic coating, blank face, honeycomb cooling channels.
Choose this for repeated fast-road or track-day braking where thermal duty matters more than the drilled street appearance. High-temperature fluid and appropriate cooling still matter.

Long-Fiber Motorsport Spec
Continuous long-fiber body, uncoated blank face, honeycomb cooling channels.
Choose this for competition-focused use with the corresponding pad, fluid, cooling and warm-up strategy. It is not the default recommendation for a street-driven car.
Heat Management Note
Carbon ceramic rotors tolerate extreme surface temperature, but they do not remove every heat-management requirement. During repeated hard stops, heat still soaks into pads, fluid, seals, calipers, wheels, and nearby components. For long track sessions, mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving, brake cooling and high-temperature fluid are still recommended.

FAQ
Does this kit fit every 2005-2011 Audi RS6 (C6)?
No. This kit is built only after confirmation of the exact model and trim. The listing specifies a 400mm front rotor with Akebono OEM Audi RS 6-Piston (9N) Calipers and a 380mm rear setup; brackets, hat offsets, and caliper mounting are bespoke and are not assumed to transfer across related C6-platform trims.
Which StopFlex rotor specification should I choose?
Choose Short-Fiber Street Spec for lower-cost street-only use. Long-Fiber Street suits broader road use, while Long-Fiber Track-Day and Motorsport are for progressively higher heat and duty requirements. Confirm how the RS6 is actually used before ordering so the disc specification matches the car rather than simply selecting the highest-tier option.
How does carbon ceramic braking behave in winter or on a cold first stop?
An untuned cold carbon-ceramic disc can have less initial bite than cold iron. StopFlex specifies a matched pad compound and disc coating to reduce that cold-start gap, but the coldest first stops still deserve extra margin. Do not expect identical first-stop behavior in winter and fully warmed summer driving.
Will I keep the electronic parking brake, and will my wheels clear?
Yes. The TTSPORT EP4 4-Piston Forged Caliper integrated with EPB retains the factory electronic parking-brake function. The supplied 400mm front configuration has a 20-inch minimum wheel requirement. Wheel spoke profile and offset still need physical clearance confirmation before the kit is finalized.
