Why Carbon Ceramic — and Why StopFlex
Continuous Fiber Construction
StopFlex discs are built with long continuous carbon fiber instead of chopped short fiber. Continuous strands carry load across the whole rotor body, raising strength and thermal durability under heat cycles.
Bespoke Per-Vehicle Engineering

CCB-Specific Pad Compound
A low-metallic resin pad compound reinforced with steel, copper, and aramid fiber, made for ceramic discs: stable to about 750 °C, roughly 0.44 average friction, strong fade resistance, low rotor wear.
Lower Unsprung Mass
A carbon-ceramic rotor weighs roughly half of the equivalent iron disc. Less rotating, unsprung mass lets the suspension follow broken pavement more cleanly and makes steering response noticeably sharper.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide friction matrix keeps working at temperatures that push iron rotors into heavy fade, so the tenth hard stop feels like the first — same pedal travel, same bite point.

The front runs the Akebono OEM Audi RS 6-Piston (9N) caliper — the same 6-piston fixed unit Audi's RS program uses — clamping a 400mm carbon-ceramic rotor for firm, repeatable pedal feel with no taper across long stops.
Rear Caliper
The rear uses the TTSPORT EP4 4-Piston Forged Caliper with an integrated EPB, so you keep the factory electronic parking brake while adding real rear-axle thermal capacity. It carries four 28mm hydraulic service pistons plus one 27mm EPB actuator piston, a two-piece forged-aluminum body, and roughly 4.50 kg per caliper without pads.

Heat Management Note
Carbon ceramic rotors tolerate extreme surface temperature, but they do not remove every heat-management requirement. During repeated hard stops, heat still soaks into pads, fluid, seals, calipers, wheels, and nearby components. For long track sessions, mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving, brake cooling and high-temperature fluid are still recommended.

How does this carbon-ceramic kit behave in winter cold starts?
An untuned cold carbon-ceramic disc bites a little less than cold iron on the first stops — that's normal physics, not a fault. StopFlex tunes both the pad compound and the disc's ceramic coating for cold starts, so cold-car feel now comes very close to warm summer feel. On the coldest first stop or two, leave a bit of extra following distance until the system comes up to temperature.
Will this fit my exact RS4 trim, or is it a generic platform kit?

Brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting are cut to match your specific car's front knuckle geometry and hub — we don't assume fitment across the whole chassis family, because performance variants can use different uprights and wheel clearance. What wheel size do I need to clear the 400mm front rotor?
The 400mm front carbon-ceramic rotor requires a minimum 20-inch wheel. Anything under 20 inches will not clear it, and spoke shape matters too — some 20-inch wheels sit close to the 6-piston caliper. Send us your wheel model and we'll confirm spoke clearance before you order.
Do I lose my electronic parking brake with this rear setup?
No. The TTSPORT EP4 rear caliper has a dedicated 27mm EPB actuator piston separate from its four hydraulic pistons, so your factory electronic parking brake keeps working exactly as it does now while you gain rear-axle thermal capacity.
