The Akebono OEM Audi S 6-Piston (8N) Caliper is an Audi-sourced 6-piston fixed unit, so clamping load stays even across all six pistons for consistent pedal feel over a 380mm rotor. OE provenance means the bracket and hat offsets are cut to seat it precisely on your RS4's front knuckle.
Rear Caliper
The TTSPORT EP4 4-Piston Forged Caliper adds real rear-axle thermal capacity while keeping your factory electronic parking brake: it runs 4 hydraulic service pistons (28 mm) plus a dedicated 27 mm EPB actuator piston, so the OE parking-brake function is preserved. Two-piece forged-aluminum body, about 4.50 kg per caliper without pads, on a 380mm rear rotor.

Heat Management Note
Ceramic discs shrug off surface temperatures that would destroy iron, but the rest of the system still heats up: pads, fluid, seals, calipers, and wheels all absorb soak heat during repeated hard stops. For track days, long descents, and sustained hard driving, run brake cooling and high-temperature fluid.

Will this kit clear my current wheels?
The largest rotor here is 380mm front and rear, so you need at least 19-inch wheels; anything smaller will not clear the disc, and even some 19s can foul on the spoke design. Send us your exact wheel model and offset before ordering so we can confirm caliper-to-spoke clearance for your RS4.
How does this behave on a cold winter morning?
An untuned cold carbon-ceramic disc bites a little softer than cold iron on the first stops—that is normal physics, not a fault. We tuned both the pad compound and the ceramic coating on these discs for cold starts, so winter cold-car feel now comes very close to summer feel. On the coldest first stops, leave a bit of extra following distance until the system is up to temperature.
