A Rotor-and-Pad Package for the G82 M4
This yellow BMW M4 G82 keeps the factory BMW M calipers and pairs STOPFLEX long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors with matching STOPFLEX ceramic-compatible pads. The red-backed pads are shown beside the four rotors before fitting; gold wheels complete the finished installation.
- Front: Factory BMW M calipers retained with STOPFLEX 400mm long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors.
- Rear: Factory BMW M calipers retained with STOPFLEX 370mm long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors.
- Pads: Matching STOPFLEX high-performance ceramic-compatible brake pads.
The matching STOPFLEX pads make this a disc-and-pad conversion while the factory BMW M calipers stay in place. STOPFLEX selects its ceramic-compatible pads for low visible dust and low rotor wear. With the brake hardware exposed behind these gold spokes, everyday wheel cleanliness is a useful ownership consideration. Actual dust still varies with traffic, temperature, bedding and driving intensity.
The pad choice also shapes the first few stops of a cold drive. STOPFLEX tunes its pad and coating combination for cold response, but still advises extra margin in the coldest conditions. Follow the specified bedding procedure and keep the pad reference with the build record; when replacements are needed, the compound should remain appropriate for these ceramic discs and the intended use.

The G82/G83 carbon ceramic rotor package is the relevant retained-caliper reference. Confirm your current brake package, rotor dimensions and wheel clearance, then select the rotor duty version and matching pad specification together.
