This Porsche Taycan wagon upgrades its front brakes to Porsche-spec Akebono 10-piston calipers with STOPFLEX long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors. The rear receives STOPFLEX rotors while retaining the car’s original rear calipers.
- Front upgrade: Porsche-spec Akebono 10-piston calipers with STOPFLEX 420mm long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors.
- Rear: retained original Porsche calipers with STOPFLEX 380mm long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors.
This wagon combines a new Akebono 10-piston front assembly with our 420mm front and 380mm rear long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors, keeping its original rear calipers. The front hardware and two-axle rotor set form one upgrade solution. Continuous carbon strands provide the rotors’ long-fiber structure for strength and thermal durability, while the carbon ceramic friction material is selected for high-temperature stability.
Our Taycan Akebono carbon ceramic upgrade range offers a rust-free friction face and ceramic-glaze finish. The drilled discs and yellow calipers remain visible behind this black wagon’s white wheels. Compared with like-sized iron discs, carbon ceramic construction can reduce rotating and unsprung mass across the axles.
