Model Y Front Brake Configuration
Brembo GT350 calipers and STOPFLEX long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors make up this Tesla Model Y front conversion. The rotor-hat marking reads 390x36mm. The gallery shows the exposed assemblies, STOPFLEX CCB+ pads and the brakes behind HRE-branded wheels.
- Front: Brembo GT350 6-piston calipers with STOPFLEX 390x36mm long-fiber carbon ceramic rotors.
- Pads shown: STOPFLEX CCB+ marking.
For someone specifying a similar road-driven Model Y, the pad compound is a buying decision worth making before the order is finalized. STOPFLEX describes its 03 Street CCB pad as focused on low-temperature response and controllable modulation. Those characteristics address short road-braking events, so the friction pairing deserves attention alongside the caliper name and disc dimensions.
The alternative 05+ Race compound targets longer high-heat sessions and race-focused wear demands. Choosing that use case changes the brief; it does not automatically make it the better daily-road option. Both compounds require the correct caliper-specific pad shape and bedding. The CCB+ marking in these photos identifies the pad branding, but does not establish which of those compounds is fitted.
Choose the Compound for the Use
The STOPFLEX CCB pad range explains the Street and Race options and requires caliper-model confirmation for the pad shape. It supports a compound discussion, not approval of a complete Model Y kit. This 390mm front package still needs its own wheel and mounting review.
Send your Model Y year, caliper details, wheels and intended use to review the rotor-and-pad pairing.
