StopFlex does not treat the SL350, SL500, SL550, SL600, SL55, SL63, and SL65 as one universal fitment. The kit is built after confirming the exact year, trim, hub and knuckle package, wheel specifications, and required bracket and rotor-hat offsets.
What wheels do I need for the 380mm carbon-ceramic rotors?
The 380mm front and rear rotors require 19-inch or larger wheels. Wheel diameter alone is not enough; spoke shape, barrel profile, offset, and caliper face clearance must also be checked against the Genuine Alcon RC6 front caliper and RC4 rear caliper.
Does this kit keep the factory parking brake?
The R230 SL does not use an electronic parking brake, so there is no EPB motor to retain or code. StopFlex verifies the rear parking-brake configuration during the build so the mechanical parking-brake function is addressed correctly for the customer’s car.
