2014-2021 BMW 2 Series / M2 (F22/F23/F87) CCB Big Brake Kit — Genuine Alcon RC6 6-Piston Caliper Front + Genuine Alcon RC4 4-Piston Caliper Rear Setup
F22/F23 2 Series and F87 M2 owners usually shop carbon ceramic brakes because repeated high-speed stops expose heat fade, front rotor stress, heavy iron rotor feel, and brake dust on open BMW wheels. This StopFlex kit pairs 380mm carbon-ceramic rotors with a Genuine Alcon RC6 6-Piston Caliper front setup and a Genuine Alcon RC4 4-Piston Caliper rear setup for higher thermal capacity, lower rotating mass, and balanced front/rear control. Each kit is engineered to the confirmed 228i, 230i, M235i, M240i, or M2 configuration rather than assumed from the shared F22/F23/F87 chassis name.
- 380mm carbon-ceramic rotors are used at both axles, so 19-inch wheels are the minimum; wheels under 19 inches will not clear the rotor package, and spoke clearance must also be checked.
- The front axle uses a Genuine Alcon RC6 6-Piston Caliper, giving the F22/F23/F87 platform a fixed multi-piston front brake package for more even pad loading and repeatable pedal response under heat.
- F87 M2 and standard F22/F23 2 Series trims do not share every brake-mounting assumption, so StopFlex matches brackets and rotor-hat offsets to the exact trim, hub geometry, and wheel ET supplied by the customer.

Every StopFlex kit is bespoke-engineered for your exact model and trim — the brackets, rotor-hat offsets, and caliper mounting are matched to your specific car, not assumed from the platform. This matters because trims that share a chassis name can differ mechanically: a pure M or performance variant often carries different front knuckles/uprights, hub geometry, and wheel axial (ET) clearance than the standard models in the same family, so a bracket and hat offset that bolt onto one are not the same parts that fit the other. StopFlex supplies the calipers, pads, rotor hats, floating hardware, and brake lines as a matched system built to your confirmed trim. Cars with modified knuckles, modified uprights, or non-factory suspension mounting points must be reviewed before ordering and are not treated as direct-fit.
This setup uses a 380 mm front rotor, so the minimum wheel size is 19". Wheels under 19" will not clear the caliper and rotor, and spoke profile and offset affect clearance too — confirm your exact wheels before ordering.

Caliper Overview — Front & Rear Balance
Front Caliper (Primary Upgrade)
The front axle uses the exact Genuine Alcon RC6 6-Piston Caliper specified for this kit, giving the 380mm carbon-ceramic rotor a fixed six-piston clamping package for more even pad pressure and firmer pedal response than a sliding production caliper. Alcon is a known performance brake manufacturer, and this genuine caliper choice gives the BMW F22/F23/F87 build a motorsport-derived component rather than a generic cosmetic caliper. The caliper, bracket, hat offset, pad shape, and line routing are selected around the customer's confirmed model and trim.
Rear Caliper (Balance)
The rear axle uses a Genuine Alcon RC4 4-Piston Caliper with a 380mm carbon-ceramic rotor to keep rear torque contribution and braking stability matched to the front RC6 package. Because this F22/F23/F87 generation uses a manual cable parking brake rather than an EPB rear caliper, rear parking-brake compatibility is handled around the factory mechanical parking-brake layout during fitment confirmation.
Front & rear, engineered together: The RC6 front and RC4 rear package is engineered as a complete system so the larger 380mm carbon-ceramic rotors, pad compounds, hydraulic behavior, and axle torque split work together. That matters on short-wheelbase F22/F87 cars because an oversized front-only setup can change pedal travel, ABS behavior, and trail-braking balance if the rear axle is left out of the calculation.
Make It Yours — Color & Logo Customization
Every StopFlex kit-upgrade order can be finished with custom caliper colors, a custom caliper logo, and custom rotor hat colors, so the brake package matches your exact build instead of a fixed off-the-shelf look.

Why StopFlex CCB
Lower Unsprung Mass
StopFlex carbon-ceramic rotors are engineered to reduce rotor mass versus comparable iron discs, helping the suspension react cleaner and the steering feel more precise.
High-Temperature Stability
The carbon-silicon-carbide matrix is built for stable braking behavior at temperatures that can push iron rotors into heavy fade.
Rust-Free Rotor Surface
Carbon ceramic does not form orange flash rust after rain, washing, or storage, keeping the visible rotor face cleaner behind open wheels.
Long Street-Service Potential
In normal road use with matched pads and proper bedding, StopFlex CCB rotors are designed for far longer service life than typical iron replacement rotors.
Low Visible Dust
When paired with matched StopFlex pads, the system produces very low visible brake dust compared with conventional iron rotor and pad combinations.
Premium Ceramic-Glaze Appearance
StopFlex's proprietary coating creates a bright, high-end ceramic-glaze finish with subtle glaze texture and a more premium visual character behind open wheels.
Street-Usable Cold Bite
Street Spec and Track-Day Spec rotors are designed for normal first-stop road use, including cold-weather operation. Motorsport Spec is the competition-focused exception.
Continuous Fiber Reinforcement
Long-fiber carbon ceramic construction improves structural strength and thermal durability versus chopped-fiber approaches.
Heat Management Note
Carbon ceramic rotors tolerate extreme surface temperature, but they do not remove every heat-management requirement. During repeated hard stops, heat can still soak into pads, fluid, seals, calipers, wheels, and nearby components. For long track sessions, mountain descents, or sustained aggressive driving, brake cooling and high-temperature fluid are still recommended.
Street / Track-Day / Motorsport Rotor Options

Street Spec
Ceramic coating, cross-drilled face, and large cooling channels.
Best for daily driving and premium street builds that need clean cold bite, low dust, corrosion-free appearance, and long service life.

Track-Day Spec
Ceramic coating, blank face, and honeycomb cooling channels.
Best for fast-road and track-day use where repeated braking stability matters more than maximum visual drilling style.

Motorsport Spec
Uncoated blank face with honeycomb cooling channels.
Best for race-focused builds that run competition pads, high-temperature fluid, cooling strategy, and a proper warm-up window. Not the default street choice.

FAQ
Will this kit fit my exact F22, F23, or F87 trim?
Fitment is not treated as a platform-wide bolt-on. StopFlex builds the brackets, rotor-hat offsets, caliper mounting, lines, and hardware for the confirmed 228i, 230i, M235i, M240i, M2, M2 Competition, or M2 CS configuration, because standard 2 Series and M cars can differ in knuckles, hubs, factory brakes, and wheel offset clearance.
What wheel size do I need for the 380mm setup?
The 380mm front and rear rotors require 19-inch wheels minimum. Wheels smaller than 19 inches will not clear the rotor diameter, and 19-inch wheels still need a spoke-clearance check against the Genuine Alcon RC6 front caliper and RC4 rear caliper.
Does this BMW 2 Series or M2 kit need EPB-compatible rear calipers?
No. The 2014-2021 F22/F23/F87 cars use a manual cable parking brake, not an electronic parking brake motor on the rear caliper, so there is no EPB motor to retain on this kit.
Why move from OEM iron brakes to carbon ceramic on this chassis?
Carbon-ceramic rotors reduce brake dust, cut rotating and unsprung mass compared with equivalent iron hardware, and tolerate repeated heat cycles better when the car is used for mountain driving, track days, or high-speed street braking. On an F87 M2 or tuned F22/F23, the 380mm rotor and Alcon fixed calipers also add heat capacity beyond the smaller factory brake packages.
