Q: My Model Y uses regenerative braking most of the time. Why is such a powerful brake kit necessary?
Think of it as your ultimate safety system. While regen handles efficiency, it cannot match the stopping power of friction brakes in an emergency. For a heavy family vehicle, having a fade-proof system ensures you have the maximum possible stopping power available instantly, regardless of battery charge or temperature.

Q: Will this system be harsh or noisy for a family car?
Not at all. It is designed for refined power. The Brembo calipers provide a smooth, progressive feel, and our pads are formulated for silent operation. By eliminating rust buildup on the rotors, we actually reduce the grinding noise often heard during the first few stops of the day.

Q: Can these fit inside my 19-inch Gemini wheels?
No. The 405mm rotor combined with the Brembo GTS6 caliper generally requires a minimum of 20-inch wheels (like the Induction or Uberturbine) for adequate barrel clearance. For 19-inch wheels, a 380mm rotor kit would be required.

Q: How long will these rotors last?
Because EVs rely heavily on regen for daily deceleration, physical wear on the carbon rotors is extremely low. In this application, StopFlex rotors are effectively a "lifetime" component, easily capable of exceeding 300,000 km while remaining rust-free.
